Yeah, I'm gonna need a lot of handholding, I fear.

Have to admit i don't plan that far ahead (lots of running commitments and really struggle to know where i'll be a month ahead), last year was fortunate enough to buy a fos ticket for Nice via the IORR traders board and it worked perfectly, couldnt find a non French official ticket site easily so i was very thankful all came together in the end. At the moment am tentatively looking at getting tickets for the London Gig if that date is correct when (and if) the tour is announced.

Tickets Sweden and Spain

Hi all,

I know it's a little bit early (but better sooner than later): I possibly would like to go to the Stones concerts in Sweden and Spain. Do you know what tickets do I have to order if I want Front of Stage? I mean what is Front of Stage called in Swedish and Spanish language (the translation?).

Thank you

For the Gothenburg show, that was cancelled last year, there were no FOS tickets.

I am hoping to see minimum 2 (London), hopefully 4 (Barcelona, maybe Rome or another), that way I will have 20 for this tour alone (previous high being 4).

But strange unpredictable things have turned up such as if my daughter has to go to summer school to make up for some less than desirable quality school work. That could big time impact my plans. God, I hope not.

And I really want to see the Who too, preferably in London.

I wish someone or some of you could list all the ticket places that are useful to check. Don't understand how you could get first 10 rows so soon after tickets went on sale through the official channels (TM) at a decent price and from a broker! Would never happen in the States.

Don't worry so much about tickets for Europe. Except for UK, most shows will be GA i.e. same ticket everywhere, may be 2-3 sections on the field, and usually numbered tickets if it is a seated stadium (for the seats, not for the field itself). As the ticket prices are high with the Stones, and the scalpers are stupid and new on every tour, they are usually stuck with too many tickets. All the fans who are desperate to get in (like you and me) have purchased the ticket long time ago. So outside the venue you may usually get a ticket around face value or below. Mind you buying tickets from abroad involves handling fees and many other expenses that adds up. Also, often the box office have got tickets, because they set up the stage and release a bot more tickets on or just before show day, to kill scalping. A very good system that works many places. I use to walk over to the box office and ask for tickets, even if I have one myself, and most often they have something to choose from, even if it might not always be FOS or right the one I am looking for. If they don't have what you are looking for, just buy it from someone else outside. This is not ricket science you know. With a show of 40,000 people there are many who can't go on the day for some reason, and they will always try to get rid of the spares.

except when there were major screw-ups like TM forgetting to have any option for international customers
it wasn't too hair-raising last year. i had been studying the US ticket sales for a while
before the European sales started, and the most useful thing i learned was:
don't buy tickets you won't be happy with, and then be happy with the tickets you buy.

keefkid,
guess you didn't get the bulletin that NYC is the last place you want to buy from a scalper unless you know what you're getting.
