My friend Sonia is from Barcelona....she's a great Flamenco dancer - her family line comes from Adalusia.... BTW, Carlos, hows Islas Canarias? I've never been but want to visit soon. What are the best places and best beaches. I do travel Photography so they should all be on the pretty/charming looking side?What do you recommend? Muchas Gracias in advance....

The Archipiélago have seven islands, distributed in two Provinces, Santa Cruz de Tenrife(La Palma, La Gomera and El Hierro) and Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, (Lanzarote, Fuerteventura).

Hope Stones start the tour in my city like they planned last summer.

Si, I planned a trip with a group of chicharreros over there, 9 people for the concert last year and nada, but we saw Smoking Stones and The Skatalites over there, we stayed at Barrio Gótico.
Any idea if in barcelona anyone says something about Stones´s concert?
We had same thing last year over here with Lou Reed, he changed plans and cancelled his concert over here in El Auditorio de Santa Cruz.

Nothing confirmed at the moment, but I will check my contacts.

I was lucky last year to see them in Argentina in february and later in Amsterdam and Twickenham. But I missed Barcelona, Valladolid and El Ejido.

Yeah!!! I'm still living in the Axturias asteroid, covered under a lot of Stones records and items...
I was in Tenerife 3 years ago for one week, and also in Barna.

I have just recently aqquired property in murcia, does that count? will be hoping to go over 4 - 5 times this year and have to say the area is still traditionly spanish at the moment in which i can unfortunately see changing due to the number of properties going up.

Lets hope the stones go to almeria and also pick one of the dates i am over there, fingers crossed.

My best friend and one of the best Rolling Stones collectors in Spain was from Gran canarias, but he died some years ago and i have never back there... too much memories but I love all canarian islands specially Lanzarote with the great work of MANRIQUE ¡¡¡.
