BTW - He was absolutely awesome...all the leads spot on.

His drummer sounded just like Paul Stanely and sang the classics better than Paul Stanley sang since the 70's!

Thanks for the reminder leteyer, as I was almost sure I had tickets to see them.
Sure enough, going through my recent ticket purchases etc., I'm seeing them on the final date of their N.American tour at the Fonda Theater in Hollywood.
Must have been a flurry of things going on at the time of purchase, and somehow slipped my mind!

Just saw Blur at Hollywood Bowl a few days ago- amazingly great show.
Coming up, just got free tickets to see The Charlatans (UK) on the Late Late show taping, and then a full show at the Fonda Nov.15.
Then Billy Gibbons and the BFG's (his new side project) at the Orpheum Theater, Los Angeles, Dec. 8.
After that, a looooong wait to see David Gilmour at the Hollywood Bowl and Forum in March 2016.
Then finally, Iron Maiden at the Forum in April.

Quite a diverse list of shows if I do say so myself - as they say, variety is the spice of life.

Aside from seeing a bunch of my friends various bands at local clubs and bars,
pretty sure there will be something else coming up to fill the void between Dec. and March.

I have tickets for this bill on Nov 15. Very excited about Primal Scream. They have only played here 1 time back in Screamadelica days. Been one of my favorite bands for a very long time. Not so pumped about the Cult. They're ok but I may leave early if they aren't blowing me away. Busy weekend, have Sunday Night Football the next day.

Not the next one but I am very happy/lucky to get golden circle tickets for Rammstein in Lucerne next year, probably with 25-30'000 the smallest venue/festival they will play as a headliner (besides Download at D-Park, Download Paris, Hurricane, Southside, RockinVienna ..Pinkpop etc..). Saw their last concert at Wacken 2013 and can't wait any longer but have to. June 4 2016

I don't have tickets yet, but I was considering Dead & Company in SF right after Xmas. I don't know. Maybe.

I tried for those and it looked like both shows sold out in less than a minute. Smaller venue and a lot of folks in S.F. must be hungry for GD-related shows. Maybe some more tickets will become available closer to showtime. I think there are still tickets available for L.A. including New Year's Eve. Good luck!

Same here, for me it's all about Primal Scream. I hope we get more than a 45 minute set. They played a small club here back in 2013 and I didn't even know about it. I will take what I can get, but I hope to have the chance to see them as a headline someday.

I was thinking about going to see Iron Butterfly, playing tonight at a small club not far from me. They were fun, in a so-bad-they're-good sort of way when I saw them 15 years ago as part of some kind of Summer of Love nostalgia package tour I happened to catch. They still had two original members then; the drummer and the bass player.

Now they have NO ORIGINAL MEMBERS! .... and they're charging $30 to see them. Thirty dollars to see what basically amounts to an Iron Butterfly cover band. Never thought I'd live to see it come to this.
