Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds!!! - Manchester this Wednesday...can't wait to see this man again, he - gives a hell of a show.

And he's playing Her to Eternity a lot more this time round so reckon there's a good chance I will get to see this live for the first time.

If anyone hasn't seen him, but likes his stuff, I strongly recommend getting yourself to a show.
I'm envious! I saw him last spring in Seattle & it was stunning. Grinderman seems to have lit a spark in him again.

Mott The Hoople in Glasgow. 4th row seats. Really looking forward to that one! After that, dunno. Will probably go to Gurf Morlix in December. Don't know much of his stuff outwith the Lucinda connection and the Blaze Foley tribute, but that's enough.

NIN tonight finally! Has been an expensive week for future tickets, to the point I'm not buying Arcade Fire tickets right away. Got tickets for Neil Finn in March & Nick Cave in July. 2 all time faves. The Bad Seeds are on a roll. Go if you get the chance!

Cool! You were lucky the Stones were at least a little more realistic on the ticket prices than they were in the States. I didn't make it to Adelaide on my Australia trip but if I ever get to go again, I would like to.

Anybody who has seen them on their current tour - what time shall I expect the show to start? I will see them this Saturday and I don't know why, but I have this feeling that such a "dark concert" :-) will start really really late. The ticket says 8 p.m., which in most cases means the time the support band starts, while the main act starts at about 9.15. So is it the same here, or shall I expect some long wait. And do they have a support band at all?

- Walking Papers - Friday Dec 11th (great band from Seattle with Duff from Guns and Roses on bass)

- Johnny Hallyday - Sunday Dec 15th : that's totally out of the blue, he's the French equivalent of the Stones, rockin' it out since 1962 (doesn't write his songs though) and while I've never been a huge fan of his music, I couldn't pass seeing him in a 1000 seater, the Trianon, it's gonna be his "Trabendo"! I'm going with a Stones' friend who was right in the front corner of T3 at HP2 too ;-)
