I don't know ANYTHING about Taylor as a person. Former Rolling Stone or not, it's say a lot about him if he were to except an offer to appear. Is that even how it works, or do you apply like on the regular version? Most of the celebs appearing on it are fame hungry and washed up in that sense or those just starting out on their career paths. What category would Taylor fit into? What would be his reasoning for appearing? He doesn't strike me as someone craving to get back into the limelight but then again, I guess its not all about that.

Well, reality TV is eek ...

what I'd love to hear about Taylor doing is record another solo album, and go the indie label route, maybe put him on Anti Records and bring him together with a fine producer like Joe Henry and he'll have a quality album that's going to have good sales, too. He still can do it, he still tours all the time.

i agree - if he was craving fame, he wouldn't have left the stones to begin with.

Oh yeah, Keith would be great. He's a little to big, credible and of course not fame hungry enough.

One of their daughters though, that COULD happen.

Hey Taylor is hurting - financially

Has only played with friends around Europe, isn't keeping himself in shape...

He needs a kick-start to his career somehow.. The Stones could have done it
for him with a invite or two but that isn't happening..

Although us "fans" of his would love to see a new CD released, which is coming
shortly, I don't think it's gonna sell enough that Taylor will be back in the
spot-light!!! I hope it does but like it's been said before, not too many
people even know who he is..

He needs to go out on tour with another big name: Gary Moore, etc.
but even Gary doesn't tour the States....

Oh Well - MLC

What about the G3 thing they did (Vai, Satriani & the other guy). Instead it could be MT, Jeff Beck & maybe some young hot shot.

One day the Stones will tell their story. Mick Taylor should be nvolved and given a faire wack from the proceeds. Pete Best was given a million when the Beatles did Anthology.

Chav - They are putting their story together, Martin Scor... is the director

we'll see how much time is given to the Taylor years & Bill Wyman???

My 1st thought is it will be glossed over quickly...

What did the Beatles owe Pete Best?

He got the boot. It's not like he did work which he didn't get compensated for, like help write songs and not get royalties for them.

A lot of the tracks on the first Anthology album pre dated Ringo and thus featured Pete Best on drums. He got paid for these.
