Solo Song you'd like in the Europe 2007 Set List

Just to spice up the set-lists, what song from a solo album would you like the Big 4 to play?

My list:

Mick - Lucky in Love
Keith - Hate It When You Leave
Ronnie - Breathe on Me
Charlie - Roll 'em Pete

OK so the Charlie one is from the Rocket 88 LP, but wo cares?

for Mick - Evening Gown would be great with the Stones..

Keith- Locked Away, sounds like something he'd do on a Stones album.

Ronnie- Breathe On Me would be great with Keith singing backup.

I don't think Charlie would want to bother.

None really, but as this is obviously just for fun :

Mick - Evening Gown
Keith - Hate it when you leave (the best song hes written in the last 30 years IMO)
Ronnie - We all get old

Charlie's stuff, whilst pleasant enough in its own musical context, doesnt really belong in a rock n roll show.

I'm trading it in for 4 Mick songs:

Evening Gown
Hang On To Me Tonight
Out of Focus
Put me In The Trash

you can't catch me!

Hey Gazza,

HATE IT WHEN YOU LEAVE is absolutely awesome...my top 3 Keith favorites with You Don't Move Me & Make No Mistake (YAP YAP #4)

And WE ALL GET OLD is one of my favorite Wood tunes.

Good choices...however my Jagger pick would be "OUT OF FOCUS"

We all know that's not gonna happen. They never do their solo stuff with the Stones. Thank God!
So - in stead I'd like to concentrate on the songs I'd like to hear the Rolling Stones perform during the tour. And believe it or not! Their work as a band is far more exciting and good than their solo projects. And there are SO MANY great songs to pick. Actually - the best back catalogue in the world.

you're cheating by choosing an unreleased cover!

Still, it very well might happen. After all, we never thought we'd get 'Nearness of You', which falls into the same category. What a jawdropper that was.

Apartment Number 9 ain't unreleased anymore - it's on the Barbarians at Largo.

by the same token: i'll have Am I Groovin You - as the opener.

Interesting thought--subject to change (at any given moment..lol) but for now:

Mick Don't Tear Me Up

Keith Shouldn't Take It So Hard (That one would be really cool)

Ronnie I Can Feel The Fire

reagrdless, why not let ronnie do a solo song to extend the show without taxing Mick. They let Billy preston do 2 back in '75! At least Ronnie is (finally) in the band...

i don't think ron wood could handle singing a song.

Solo Songs? Mick's gonna have 20 years to get to those. Here's what SHOULD be done while the Stones are still together (fragile but still standing):

Drop - MISS YOU, TUMBLING DICE

Alternate - JUMPING JACK FLASH / BROWN SUGAR and START ME UP / SATISFACTION

Replace with: SOUL SURVIVOR, LOVING CUP, 2000 MAN, BACK STREET GIRL, EMPTY HEART

Ronnie SHOULD have a solo spot, why not? He did a great SEVEN DAYS at the Dylan tribute. His live solo albums are first rate - STRETCH IT OUT BOYS !!

I don't know how many absolutely dull guys post here. I mean it really hurts reading answers like that!!! Do you seriously think the Stones will play band members' solo numbers? NEVER! Why should they? The Stones have hundreds of songs they've rarely been playing.

Me personally hope they will play She Was Hot, High Wire or Faraway Eyes.

Well, maybe Memo from Turner would make sense. At least that song showed up on an album credited to the Stones (Metamorphosis), although that was not exactly a Stones album, and the performance was inferior to the classic recording from the film.

Mick - Wandering Spirit.
Keith - "Make No Mistake" with Lisa.
Ron - "Far East Man".
