I live in Delft, the Netherlands, halfway between De Kuip (Rotterdam) and Het Malieveld (Den Haag/The Hague). Both within 10 km, but I'm afraid I'll have to travel to Amsterdam next summer...

Delft is the (Medival) city of the famous Delft Blue pottery, painter Johannes Vermeer and some other things. Anthony van Leeuwenhoek has done 'something' here too ;-). But I'm not born here so who cares. (Ouch, how do some beers make one indifferent to culture...)

From my balcony I can clearly see the skyline of Rotterdam, and I knw exactly where De Kuip is, although I can't actually see the stadium itself. From my faculty (architecture) I can see the The Hague buildings Nicos posted early in this thread.

Sleep well, the day will start early tomorrow...

Ah, Seattle! I was there Oct/Nov last year to see the Stones (of course) and met lots of great people. But since you have been there only the last few months I guess we did not meet there then? Maybe you know my good friend Tongue Lady (the one and only)? :-)

BTW, I am from (north of) Hamar, Norway. However, been living in Gjøvik the last 3,5 years - but hope to go back to where I am from soon.
