Exile Books

The other post about Greenfield's new book led me to asking this. I have a good amount of Stones books, one book I have always wanted is a photography book from Nellcote, can't think of the name but would remember it if I heard it. I know its pretty pricey to buy.

Can anyone tell me some other good Exile books, looking for some good pics rather than those BS books discussing the album song by song.

I am really am very jealous of anyone that owns that collection of photos. The ones that are on the web i would just love to have a quick scan through of that book.

I think the Bill Janowitz book is amazing too. A bit of a shame that there's no books that are equally great for, say, Sticky Fingers.

I have the deluxe version of Tarle's EXILE book, with the Mick Taylor autograph (limited to 350 copies, I think) and I have never seen one put up for sale. I read it once, but after seeing recent Ebay prices on the regular copies, I am now afraid to take it out of its box.

You should take it out of the box at least once more and put it in the scanner.
I envy those of you who have the book, and at the same time I think it's ridiculous to put such great and desirable photos in such an overblown overpriced book. More photos to the masses I say!

Re-read it two nights ago. It's a treasure--insightful and beautifully written. Deepens my understanding of, and love for, that record.

Refreshing after the Greenfield mess...

I have 4 Genesis Books, Exile, TOTA, Blinds & Shutters and Mason's Yard to Primerose Hill, they are awesome.
Exile is very very good, the problem is that the last one sold on eBay went out for $ 2.650!!!
