There are alot of us who lurk constantly and just ignore boring or negative posts. If I was gonna leave I'd make a final thread too, but I wouldn't crack on the vibe or suggest bv allow banned posters back. There's a reason they were banned. They didn't obey the rules to begin with. There's no reason to believe they'd suddenly conform if they were offered "amnesty". Anyways, I hope you come back. Its fun here!

Hey, I just got back from Xmas shopping, give me a break. I can't be sarcastic 24/7, you know. Ok, back to work ...

Hey Frank, don't let the virtual door hit you in your virtual ass on the way out!

Yeah, but whining because you're bored or noone will respond to your thread is ridiculous. Are we supposed to beg someone not to leave?lol!

Thanks for all the great pics, Rockman. How many GBs of those you got? I'm going to guess at least 300GB.

One guy's (or chicky-boo dame doll broad's) 'boring or negative post' can easily be another's 'provocative discussion.

Did the stones give up after their first U.S tour in 64 when at most of the gigs hardly anyone showed up?

Re: My Dramatic Goodbye

No. They found more positive ways to get attenion.

Re: My Dramatic Goodbye

though the stones will never embark on a "farewell tour," that doesn't seem to stop numerous self-important (and boring!) posters from doing so . . .

you can't catch me!

Yeah but his dramatic goodbye now leads 52 to 47. Coincidence, I think not.

In that picture Rockman posted, doesn't it look like Brian's wearing a skirt? It took me a minute to figure out who the girl was.
Rockman, thanks for posting so many pictures, they're all great! Where do you get them all?

FrankM,
Hey, I'm glad you said something.
I've been real ignored in my posts and threads of late, well, maybe
since I've come in here, but well, I guess I've stayed around anyway.
I may have to learn more how to fit in or post when the time zone is
right, anyway. /whine.

I find some of the discussion amusing and interesting, and some not so much.
Whenever you want to come back, please do, or else I'll see you at some of the
more positive places, eh? :-D

If I'm not mistaken - one of the guys who really worked up a negative atmosphere here, accusing and attacking people and posters, had a name identical to the person who started this thread... I tried the "search"-function here, and really had a laugh. Search and see. Anyway - relying on the posters here to get personal attention - it's not such a great idea. I'd rather hang out with people I know in stead of "living" on the internet. Seriously. Posting and chatting is ok, but can never make up for real friendships.

Shidoobee are you still upset about that tongue lashing I gave you a couple months ago? If I had known you were a girl I probably would have refrained. I also responded to your question about travel to A.C. and tried to give you some advice way back when but you selectively forgot that I guess.

Funny how you accuse me of "living" on the internet yet you probably have twice as many posts as me and apparently have enough "internet time" on your hands to go searching through all my posts.

You like many others missed the entire point. It wasn't about how many responses I received per say. It was more about the fact that the negative threads that criticize the Stones get much more responses than the ones praising them- showing an overall pattern of some people undermining what they have accomplished.
