I thought they were lucky getting Midnight Rambler (since I always want to hear it) but then three songs from Keith as well! Looking forward to reading some reviews. Wonder how they left the stage, since it may have been the last time...

For a while, anyway.

Wow, in order to hit 20 Mick couldn't muster up a short AS TEARS GO BY but needed to have Keith add another number? Don't really get how Keith doing 3 is a positive thing...IMO Keith doing 1 is positive....Jagger's voice is just a bit better (by MAYBE a thousand times)....

Yeah, I saw RIO, I've seen them live about 25 times, I don't need to BE THERE. You missed '69 and the 70's my friend, you missed the years they really were THE BEST.....

you saw Rio so you should know that they dont play 3 ballads in a row...
and...as you "saw" Rio in 2006, I "saw" 69, 71, 72, 73, ...

You saw a complete '69 show on film? where did you see that at? Remember, I said COMPLETE.... 14 songs....and which show was it?

Naw, I just don't get excited about NOTHING..... This tour has gone from Interesting to almost pathetic IMO. Last show and they can't even hit 20 without Keith adding another one, Half of the tickets to Dodgers Stadium have to be given away to kinda fill the place up to 80%, Honolulu is canceled due to super slow sales, This last set list is full of warhorses with nothing special (yeah, Bonnie Raitts great but...not exactly anymore special then Sheryl Crow doing HONKY TONK WOMAN in the past). Like I said, don't get excited by NOTHING...oh and how much were the tickets BTW?.....PLEASE, get real, eh ("eh" since we're talking about Canada).....

Au contraire. You really do if you wanna say something about a show.

That's what you say. But you're biased towards that. What if I said that they're best now, because I'm biased towards that?

Well Kent, I would respect your opinion cause you've become one of my favs on here. I think you make sense almost all of the time.if not all the time... I'm just saying if you were to chart this return leg of the tour to the US the line on the chart wouldn't be going up.... let's hope they have a good rest and a renewal of energy in Europe next summer....And KEEP THE PRICES DOWN.....

I just got back from the show. It was great I even enjoyed the last part. They sounded different and at times Keith and Charlie showed some emotion. Even my 7 year old liked it! Best parts Midnight Rambler, Slipping Away and Symphathy, but it was tonnes of great stuff including She was Hot and Shine a ligth, no one can complain about this show. The funny part is how awful Keiths guitar sounded on Satisfaction was it strung wrong? But it worked and it was different. Actually all numbers where a little different from what I seen and heard the last 2 decades.

(Had no idea I was ANYBODY's favourite grinning smiley).

Why wouldn't it be going up? No comprende on my behalf.

I just think with Honolulu being canceled due to slow ticket sales and Dodgers Stadium being filled up using dubious methods (giving tickets away all over town) it just doesn't look like the best ending. Keep in mind also that Vancouver's Stadium has a roof and Vancouver is SO CLOSE to Seattle that this was basically a Vancouver/Seattle show so it was never going to sell poorly (even people from Portland - that's a 6 hour drive). But take out Vancouver and it wasn't the greatest ending to this leg (or possibly, the entire tour, time will tell)....

This show will receive definitely some very interesting reviews.......

longer than prior ABB shows??......

"Oh No Not You Again"......brilliant

"Shine A Light" was fantastic......

Keith did 3 (not 2) songs........

"Get Off Of My Cloud" (sounded like it was in the wrong key) Mick almost rapping the lyrics......but maybe they reinvented it (or tried to) tonight

"Brown Sugar'........endless,longest version I've ever heard

"YCAGWYW"......Mick's vocals very sped up from the intro...then it clicked back into the proper vibe shortly thereafter

Keith....I don't think that he wanted to leave the stage

In summary, they played (at times) ragged, but glorious rock 'n' roll tonight throughout the show. They were amazing

It is too bad this show was not filmed because it was truly unbelievable. I saw them in Seattle last year and it it was nowhere close. My 7 year old was jumping on her chair screaming wow- wow to Sympathy and I have never even tried to influece her on Stones. They where just something else tonite.

I would think it would be special emotionally since it's the last show (well technically not since there's Europe, India, Bangkok coming up - not officially anounced yet - so who knows). Too bad it was a Pay Per View or on HBO, that would have been a good move IMO...

Nothing to get excited about Piotr, Jagger's the singer and to make the show hit 20 songs he has to have Keith do 1 more? I mean, Jagger couldn't do a 3 minute AS TEARS GO BY after STREETS OF LOVE? I find this kinda sad, not exciting....A BIGGER BANG? I don't think so....
