Absolutely great they tried it, but how on earth dare you play a song live wich your main guitarist absolutely doesn't know? Keith clearly has no clue what so ever what song he is playing! He knows it starts in G, but that's it, after that he's completely lost. The breaks and choruses -he's never heard them in his entire life. They absolutely totally screw up one of my fave Stones songs.

It also looks extremely uncomfortable on that stage by the way.

She Was Lukewarm, as far as I'm concerned; hopefully it'll be better by the time they whip it out in LA. (Mick's vocals were a big disappointment) LOVE the Undercover version, but this one needs work!

so im not entitled to have an opinion on how the song sounded, micki? and you'll notice I didn't totally trash it - i said it was "lukewarm."

moreover, i haven't told you to "go away" because of your misguided opinion about Indian Girl!

Not bad, but not great. I agree with Mathjis - it seems like Keith would have played those same leads no matter what song they were playing. You can also see how Mick can't hit some of those notes anymore. I'm not really bitching because it's cool they pulled it out and it's not like it sounded HORRIBLE - I just think it could have been a bit better.

Well, Sway didn't sound that great the first time they played it either, but it's gotten alot better over time. It's probably unrealistic for it to sound completely together the first time they play it. I'll take a new song with some mistakes in it over the millionth version of Miss You any day.

I was there. This recording does not do it justice. It was extremely windy and any recording will be distorted.

They nailed it. Played it like they had been doing it for years....

That's what I hoped. I couldn't listen to it till the end (like most audience recordings BTW)

Definitely played it like they knew it like the back of their hand. Keith shined during his solo.

not bad - but I suspect we won't be hearing this again. mick was obviously not familiar enuff with the lyrics - read pretty much the whole thing off the prompter (and even managed to screw it up a couple of times at that!). and, I agree - KR's CB licks are about all he has left in his bag of tricks - it matters not what song is played anymore. someone said a few months ago, they are waiting for him to play these licks on the next version of angie! lol

Well, friends, I do not know what you want. Keith kinda messed the first verse, but afterwards, it was OK for live version. If they play warhorses nearly perfectly and with all the licks properly, you criticise them for playing the same every night. If they vary the set list and include never live played songs such as She Was Hot, you also are not satisfied. Let's have more tolerance and listen to the music. And I disagree - the human riff has a very large bag of tricks, but it is hard to unveil them in a cold night and in a song that he has not played for last 20 years or so. Be reasonable.

How can one not like this!!!

I was there last week and the youtube recording does not do the tune justice. I thought the song came off very well considering it was the first time they played it and the wind was really blowing up there. Was it perfect with no glitches? Far from it, but the song came off fine and most importantly the crowd loved it! Critics of Keith's playing on this number are really stretching it. He and Ronnie did a nice job IMHO. These guys ain't perfect, never have been, never will be. This song should stay in the setlist.

I hope they keep on doing SHe Was Hot.

The bashing of Keith -- and Mick and anyone else -- here is just ridiculous. Number one, to make any real judgement of how they played on this number via this video is literally impossible (not a knock to the poster/person who directed us here; much appreciated, and I enjoyed it, but hardly fodder for any sort of real critique). From the sound that could be made out, they seemed to be dead on -- no timing issues or anything else. Hoping to see it in AC.

And in general, for anyone to insinuate that the licks Keith plays are easy or that he doesn't have anything left in his "bag of tricks"... well, I just wonder if you've ever actually seen a guitar in person. Just plain stupid commentary.
