Why not Dortmund stadium? They have never played there, it's big and they surely will play one show in the west next summer. So my guess is
Hamburg or Bremen (north)
Dortmund (west)
Frankfurt (central/south)
Dresden or Lausitzring (east)
hopefully one or two arenas but I doubt it.

I agree, that makes sense.

I think Dresden is more likely than Lausitzring (ca. 80 km North of Dresden), because the latter is too close to Berlin, to far from the middle German metropoles (D., Leipzig, Chemnitz) and actually in "the middle of nowhere". Hotel would be probably in Dresden anyway, so they would probably use the "Festwiese Ostragehege" there where the first big Dresden concerts since 20 years took place in July (Robbie Williams).

Okay, it would be great. But I don't think it'll happen. Waldbühne 98 was not sold out by the way. They've played Berlin too many times.

I think this thread was too soon forgotten.

Maybe we can add Erfurt, Dresden and more cities next summer? Seems like that.

I think this is bullshit. Dortmund may happen and be packed, I don't know. Erfurt is as good as announced and there will be 6 more or so I'm sure. (Almost) half of them in the former GDR. A 40 shows European tour almost without Germany is impossible anyway, that's the biggest market. And there are a lot of "forgotten" big cities left.

Waldbühne is easy to sell out.

I doubt it. Almost 20.000 tix for this years show were not sold. That's similar to the total size of the Waldbühne. It would be at least brave if Cohl books this venue. I believe they'll NEVER be in Berlin again.

Interesting statistics. The Stones have played about one thousand shows since 1969. Which means that aproximately 9 % of the shows in that period were done in Germany.
