I guess the reason is that (a) blues, like jazz, is quite popular music in Scandinavia; there are many small blues festivals, etc. (b) He loves to play with Finnish blues group Wentus Blues Band (with which he does these small tours here and there all over Scandinavia). And anyone heard Taylor with this band can understand why he enjoys so much; he sounds relaxed, does not even to be a frontman or anything; gives room for other players, etc. and for some reason, especially the Stones numbers work very fine! When I first hear them doing "Stop Breaking Down", I thought bloody hell, did someone put Exile on... Few weeks ago Wentus give a three gig series in Helsinki to celebrate their 20th anniversary, and there have many guests with whom they havae played during the years: Louisiana Red, Eddie Kirkland, Lazy Lester, Omar Dykes, Kim Wilson... Taylor was said to be so willing to come along that he was ready to pay his own travelling costs.... After seen Taylor with Wentus few times, I was quite shocked when I saw him with his 'regular' own band. He was quite disappointing. So forced.
Charlie and Taylor in Eslöv? But alas not simultaneously, I reckon. But the Stones seem to have a special eye at Skåne/Scania, our Cottonfields area, ever since the break-thru days.
Taylor plays all over, anyway; Finland: Northern Sweden, ya name it.
And we do know how to appreciate good rock & blues & Rhythm & blues music - even a greedy bastard like meself went to Stockholm to see the Living Vibrato last December.

Taylor played one show in Malmö in 1999, and Bill played one show in Malmö last year. But the last Stones concert in Skåne was in 1970. Not really sure what you mean.
I mean they stayed for several days back in '65, made lots of great friends of which whome they stayed in touch for centuries (J.Brost is one of them, still a close friend of Mick's) uptil this very day. Aint that clear enough?

They certainly stay in touch with their Swedish friends. For concerts, though, they consider this area as part of the Denmark market.
Maybe we spoke slightly different tongues, Erik. I was talking about friendships & relation, not $$$... ... But ya know I'm a scholar in the Human Sciences, what can a poor boy do...
