What Time is Sound Check in Stadiums Lately?

I am going to Missoula on Wed (13th row, seat 1 Ronnie's side RIGHT next to catwalk) and to Regina on Friday (just got 6th row sec A4 seats 13-14 2 nights ago on TM for $99 each). Hopefully a good view of the Plexiglass.

But anyway, does anyone know what time these days they do the sound check? Would like to hear that and, if I go up on one of the hills near the stadium, should be able to see it as well (I may also get a view of the PLEXIGLASS).

Well, to the 4 European shows I went to there were
NO soundchecks by the band at all.

Even on the official running sheet of München it says
"NO SOUND CHECK".

Soundcheck only done by the roadie band! They only do soundchecks before important shows (so to say not for the fans ;-)

Was around 4pm at Gaints Stadium......the sund was pretty muddy though and hard to make out the songs.....pretty sure the last one was Far Aay Eyes.....they also did a blues tune that we were unable to recognize.

It was about 4'clock in Boston too. It was cool they did sound check off and on for about two hours, I heard Under my thumb like three times working on it for about an hour that was cool.

one does not 'get a view of the Plexiglass'
one waits for the Plexiglass to reveal itself,
for all will know its secrets in good time.

In Boston it was the Stones but with Bernard singing. It was just after 4 PM.

AFAIK, the reason the Stones don't perform soundchecks anymore in Europe is because people are queueing up early at general admission shows. Chuck wrote that they actually have a drum kit set up, most of the time in Keith's dressing room, for rehearsal purpose, but that they don't do a proper sound check anymore. Instead the Stones crew does a sound check.

I don't think this applies to US shows where people don't have to queue up.

O Barking One

You are indeed correct, the Plexiglass does reveal itself when and in the manner It chooses, its ways are mysterious and unknown to mortals.

I have been appropriately chastised and will beg the Plexiglass for mercy and forgiveness, but it is unknown if and how It will choose to respond.
