I would consider going more often if I knew Mick Taylor would make a guest appearance during the tour next year. Nothing to do with Ronnie Wood or so. Just great. Same goes for Bill Wyman BTW. Please don't use this post to start a Wood/Taylor match.
Other bands, such as Yes, have very successfully re-introduced former band members from time to time, so it's a very good point that you make.
Bill told Uncut a few months ago that he'd be up for it if the Stones played a series of small gigs in the UK, though of course it would be better still if Mick Taylor rejoined the gang.
Sadly, while money is still king however, and the actual quality of the music way down on the list of priorities, it'll probably never happen.
ok that would be cool...BUT he must drop at least 40 LBS!!!!!
...again, what's with the obsession with Mick Taylor's weight? Is it because you can't find anything critical to say about his guitar work?... so you have to criticize the way a person looks? ...do the rest of you find this amusing? I'm just curious.
yea..i would love to see him...my 1st stones concert was in 1975...sad i could not afford a tix in 1972...i could kill my self for not going then..
but it be nice to see bill again too... but it's only a dream. i would rather see bill and taylor more, back in the studio with the stones... i think taylor could really add more to the sound then even playing live.
tat2you - Lukester's right - your an ASSE with your comments about personal appearance!! Do the Taylor fan's make comments like: if Keith, Ronnie & Jagger get some Botox to get rid of all those wrinkles maybe Taylor would play with them again.. stupid comment and something I would expect from someone like you..
LISTEN to the music, who gives a shit what they look like... they're all pushing 60 anyway!!!!
"Do the Taylor fan's make comments like: if Keith, Ronnie & Jagger get some Botox to get rid of all those wrinkles maybe Taylor would play with them again."
Yes many do make many comments insulting the Stones. Their looks and their playing ability both. I believe you included.

Or maybe our resident sycophant who loves set list idiots and believes that only 500 people out of 50,000 at Halifax had seen the Stones perform before can work his magic....
last time i checked Taylor is not in the band and is not in a position to make demands .... it would be great if the stones let him/invited him up ...what would it take i dont know...they did have him on stage for the RR hall of fame but that was almost 20 years ago.... btw if you cant tell people are having fun w/ the obestiy comments then you need to cool out bro...and eat a salad ....Tat
I just sit here and bash the Stones for their looks... your on a par with tat.
Yes I've listened to ABB, it's OK, just OK to me, I prefer, Steel Wheels, Bridges to B. more - personally..
And if you "noticed" I gave Ronnie props for his solo on that Glasgow version of: Sway - best version so far I've heard from the "current" Stones.. so I don't just slam the guy....
Stones looks ? ...i have busted balls about all of em...c'mon.....richards ears ??? lol you guys are missing the joke...... why taylor is not coming back ...we all know kieth cant stand him....thats the way it is.....
Some fans would love that. I am part of those. But there are moments, precious moments that belong to souvenirs, memories. Still alive. Those magic instants will never come back. Better keep them in the safe of one's brain. I don't think anyone in the Stones wishes that. What would that bring up to the surface : a huge musical vacuum for more than 30 years. Useless. " Laugh I nearly Died".
Keith played with Taylor at one of his shows in NY, Jagger never has,
Jagger was the one pissed at Taylor for quiting as he was becoming more of a writing partner than Keith in the early 70's...
When Taylor played with the Stones at KC in the 80's it was at the billed as: at the "personal invitation" of Keith Richards, Mick Taylor will be playing with the Rolling Stones.
