I wonder if that was weather related?

I think it is all time related.

yep..all details in contract. Time is one of the bigger issues.

It must have been quite less than two hours as they did no MR as well. But as YCAGWYW was written on the plastic next to the drums, its dropping was weather related I think. (19 songs is poor enough!)

Until a recent time, 19 songs were the sign of Midnight Rambler being performed, counting as 2 songs because of its length

The european shows were about 2hrs long though

Still, a lot of band don't play more than 1h30 or 1h45, and their members are way younger...

I agree, but these other bands do not sell tickets for 300 bucks or so.

19 - 20 songs is the norm now. Halifax would've got 19 if it was'nt for the weather. Its as simple as that.

I do agree. I think 20 songs is a nice amount and not out of the question at all, but as already said, Halifax only got 18 because of the rain. You Can't Always Get What You Want was the dropped song.

I'm surprised they're still playing 19 songs, I expected 16-18 songs during this tour.

I think I got 14 songs in 1973, and I was pretty damn happy.

Used to be bands would play six to eight and two shows on certain days. Sort of like a bigger version of a bar band doing three or four sets a night.

I agree,if they played as good as Boston everynight, iwas content withwith leaving after T&A, i'm serious too it was that good. I've seen those ending songs so much it really does'nt matter anymore,i stay just for respect of the band and show.

yes.. and earlier in the year it was 20 with MR and 21 without.

The setlist only dropped from 20 to 19 at twickenham because of the weather/curfew (delete which one you believe). However, they werent in too big a hurry to bring it back to 20 again - yet at Halifax it went down to 18 because of the weather, again. At this rate, pray its not a wet autumn in the US or you'll be down to the b-stage and nothing else by the time they get to hawaii.

I do think it'll back up to 19 again next show however.

This is disheartening because, unlike the widening gap in time between new original material, the number of songs they play is something they can control.I believe they still could deliver 22 song sets without much of a problem,if they avoid songs like Night Time that strain Jagger's voice, considering they now often have three days between shows.
