It's a great song from a great album. I was just listening to the short guitar solo at the end, it's only a few seconds but it's a thing of beauty, very melodic, and those licks, as it fades out... GREAT!

Hoffman is a big beatles/mccartney fan, and him and macca started talking about songwriting, and dustin asked him something along the lines of "So, can you just write a song out of the blue, on the spot?" And he handed Paul a newspaper which had the story of picasso's death in it, and his apparent final words, and macca started writing the song there and then and blew dustin away...
There is audio interview footage of this on the 25th anniversary band on the run cd boxset.

I've just ripped the audio from the voodoo lounge miami dvd, and its great, although the audience is f*ckin loud! DVD's are mixed differently to live cd's, so it will never be quite the same, but.... it rocks!
