Their '89-'05 output for me isn't as good as their '80-'86 output is, although BTB and SW are near-classics, and ABB isn't bad.


And UC and TY are better than any of the albums mentioned.

But I do not believe that the Stones are "washed up", and they still make worthwhile albums, at least compared to U2.

None of them. I think they are still the ultimate concert wise and no band excites me like the Stones, but they are not the best band on thr planet in terms of recording anymore. They have'nt been since thre Jimmy Miller era.

The Stones are my FAVOURITE band, but they are not the best.

Definitely 2

Studio output and live performances may not be what they used to, but even what they do while sitting on the can is better than the stuff most other bands put out.
