OT: Best new album you've heard in the past couple years

I have a hard time not nominating Stadium Arcadium by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Listening to it now, months after first release, and it's just deep and incredible rhythms. Very guitar-forward album, really showcases the talent of their incredible lead guitarist, John Frusciante, who first joined the band at age 18, having never been in another rock band.... that's not bad, to go from playing guitar in your basement to the Red Hot Chili Peppers... and there's a reason, this guy is so unique...

Only complaint: Could have released this as a single rather than double CD, because they really have the better part of two CLASSIC albums here.

Ray Davies Other People's Lives - absolutely brilliant! I've been listening to it since March and everytime I do I enjoy it. The music is excellent and the lyrics are full of typical Ray Davies twists, turns, wit, sarcasm and story telling.

Wolfmother's self titled CD, Great heavy rock aka Sabbath, Zep, Yes, and The Who. Great stuff.

Radiohead's new one will be a killer. Saw them this summer and they did five songs from it. All were fantastic!

The Racontours disc is cool.

Bowie's disc Heathen is a classic. Up there with Low, Station to Station, and Diamond dogs.

The new Dylan !

I have to agree with Bonnie Prince Billy - Superwolf, its a classic.

also "First Impressions of Earth" by The Strokes and "Invisible Invasion" by the Coral is fantastic, it seems not many people know this great band though.

just download a few songs from limewire. you can get a free version of limewire and the songs are free and they download pretty quick if you have cable/dsl/broadband.

Yeah. I've tried. But LimeWire doesn't work with this computer, or then I'm doing it wrong. Whenever I search for something nothing appears.
