the us tour in fall would be a perfect chance for the stones
to realease 20 live albums and sell it via internet like
depeche mode did it

so that would be a chance for hardcore fans to get
solid live albums and people wouldnt have to mess around with
creepy bootlegs

I like bootlegging.. your idea would take all the fun out of it..

As you probably know, the Who are releasing cds and dvds from each of their concerts on their current tour.

I just got my DVD / CD package from Leeds O2 festival. Excellent value .

I don't know if the Stones play consistantly well enough any more to do this ?

I wondered why the Stones don't release all their live shows now and make money -- thye love the money.
I think the above quote gets it right and/or they do not want all these live bootlegs competing with their official live cds.

They can't put any live material out without messing around with it.It has always been that way.

I think it's a great idea. The Black Crowes and Metallica have been doing this for a while now. It would be great to had a soundboard of any show you wanted. No more sketchy audience recordings. And more $$$$ for the Stones. Everybody wins

this would be a great chance to satisfy the real fans, but as thief in the night mentioned, i don`t think jagger will give his allowance for this.
imo it is realistic, we will get an incredible amount of live and outtake albums after the active career of the stone ( hope that this will never happen :-) )
