woo hoo - I love New Barbarians - Keith'n'Ronnie - it's drunk'n'roll and it's beauty in it ! btw, I don't think I have or seen:
- row 1 from top, left side picture (of Keith'n'Ronnie)
-row 2 from top, right side picture (of Keith)

I would love to see them in normal size, I would really appreciate it - thank you & thank you for posting this nice compilations of photos - they surely had a great time doing this tour so did their audience !

Great pics.

So Ronnie is the sole guitarist for the Faces, writing many songs and touring from 70-75, writes his first solo album in 74, joins the Stones, touring in 75, 78, 81, in the middle of this he writes 2 more solo albums and tours with the New Barbarians...and yet he still does not get the credit he deserves!

Ode to Ronnie!

Here some more photos in normal size.

All taken by Henry Diltz, who should publish a photo book about the New Barbs Tour. He made some great shots!

By the way, Willie Dixon is huge!

Yes I recall how strange I felt seeing an ad in the Village Voice for the NB's at MSG, with everyone's name listed, first time any Stones ever did a real tour outside the group...And lest we forget in addition to 2 Stones I got to see one of my all time fave drummers, Joseph Ziggy Modeliste (The Meters had just split up...and now this year they're back!), Stanley Clarke (remember fusion?), Bobby Keys, and Ian McLagan, who later managed to gather the whole gaggle into the studio for one time once, and wrote about it all too.
