A good move by The Stones. Though election fraud and what not right-wingers have hijacked the US democracy. It's time for everyone, also The Stones, to stand up for decency.

jagger isnt/hasnt been the sort of person who would nail his political colours to the mast enough to run for office, and certainly not in the US (even if he could). Theres no truth in that story, sounds like a bit of idle gossip to me. First I've heard of it, in all honesty! (he'd make less money as a politician!). He WAS approached in the 60's by the Labour MP Tom Driberg to be a potential parliamentary candidate however - maybe thats what youre thinking of?

being interested in the politics of a country is one thing, and reasonable enough - sticking your nose into it is another.

I'm not sure who the Hansons youre referring to are - is that some political or business family? Excuse my ignorance. Patti Hansen's late father was a bus driver, however and shes from a working class background- so maybe youre thinking of someone else?

Congrats all around.

And to all of you chiming in - please do not say anything in disagreement as that means you are wrong and must love satan because Beely (or, now known as KOTY - short for "knucklepoop of the year" - may yell at you

Number one Gazza,Mick could run for office easily here in the states, he just could not run for President. Look at the Govonator in my state that's Arnold by the way he Austrian. So that would not be an issue, and as far as money i don't think that would faze Mick ,Mick is about power and royalty which he has always thought he was. So when you have all the money in the world what else is left well it's called more power, that's why people get into politics it way beyond money Gazza it's control, Patti Hansens granfather created the hansen food and beverage company i don't know the exact name of the company or llc or whatever it goes by, but it's very large.Another thing it was'nt idle gossip, Jagger was with some govenor back around when i said with Jerry Hall then and the govenors wife and Jerry was pushing him to do it, i said he entertained the idea and he did i remember that i just don't have all the fact's together on it,and i know your pretty technical on these matters. Obviously from our first debate about the stones longest concert, which they walked out at sunrise and you did'nt think that was abnormal, but i still have never been to a concert that ended at sunrise so maybe i am off a little. I do appreciate your time and effort that you put into these matters by the way. Don't get me wrong on that i know where you are coming from now so when it needs to get technical i know where togo.

Why would you even want to be at this show unless you are waiting to hear Neocon?Personally,I am hoping for the second Beacon Theater show to happen.

Why i suggest you do the real deal, and go to Idaho that's for sure and it's the smallest venue so far.
