Just wanted to say Simple Minds did an amazing job opening for the boys in Stuttgart. Jim kerr went all the way out to the B stage during one of their songs and really got the crowd going. Its easy to see how they used to fill stadiums themselves. Easily the best opening act of the tour.
this would have been one of the strong reasons for me to attend the stuttgart show, though I couldnt finally make it. I think the stones should allow them to play, at least, in their homeland: Glasgow. This would be a great opener. The ones I've seen so far.....well, better get a beer and/or piss off I saw theim in an indoor venue (1,500 ) in barcelona last March and they were just brilliant. Charlie Burchill is a great guitar player

Me too, I saw them at Razzmatazz (Barcelona) this year. It was a nice show.
They're still on tour, you can check their site for the dates...
you were there, too? it's one of the most brilliant performances I've seen this year. Kerr is still a good front man, they don't bore you with long speeches like Bono, for example, and their music full of great guitar work and keyboards is simply enjoyable
