Hi Beeley, It's from a boot called Hillside Blues. I don't know anything else about it, some lovely person had posted it on here some time ago, very nice of them to share such a treasure.
ok, just finished watching LETS SPEND THE NIGHT TOGETHER for about the 10th time.(love this show/flick/whatever) Anyway, I had forgotten(even after 10 watches) how 'touching' it is that the Stones/producers recognize Charlie and Bill during LET IT BLEED. To me, 'We all need someone we can lean on' is a 'tribute to the rythem section which imo is great! Was wondering what everyone else thought about this. Rock and Roll Stones friends!
The Li'l Drink title is well-known, but it doesn't really matter because the song wasn't released, and therefor not correctly titled (or overdubbed). Loving Cup is perhaps the best title for all versions.
Still a Stonesian historic interest whether it was baptized under another healine during the first one-two years or not. And it doesnt reach its dynamic swing till Exile is done, right?

You're very welcome, I love them too. My boyfriend showed the video to a non-Stones fan today, and they were pretty impressed with the song. His first convertee, he was so proud of himself.
BTW, I heard we are going to be seeing you in London. Are you going on the cruise too?

It's a studio-run-through-song, just like the acoustic All Down The Line (have you heard that one?) Probably to learn the song, and come up with new ideas. There are even some wrong chords now and then. I haven't listened to Loving Cup 69 for a while, but I remember Bill is playing something that is not correct, just when "I feel so humble..." starts. So you're right, it's almost a concert-feel over it. Should I upload ADTL acoustic?
