According to Bart at the dutch Stonesforum(www.stonesforum.nl), Jo Wood has said, on Ronnie's VIP party at the opening of his exhibition in Amsterdam, that the Stones will return to Europe catch up on the cancelled gigs. She said they will play the Netherlands.
Interessting news.
I think it will be mostly arena's. The Amsterdam Arena show, of which there was only one, didn't even sell out, and, a second concert in 2007 will probably only draw the real diehards. Not by far enough to fill the Amsterdam Arena, as it appears.
Let's hope for a quick official announcement, so we can be sure of this. If there will be a show, I will be there!

Ronnie also said they were gonna play LWTCDI - and that he's clean!
But, in this case, it's not even ronnie saying it; it's his damn wife! I wouldn't put much stock in this; though i certainly hope it's true!
Oh man don't play with my pain. However if there is confirmation for a european tour even a short one,I'll save up money and I will go.This year I was tricked and left with no money and no stones.
DonĀ“t expect an announcement until late November-December. When I interviewed Blondie last week, he said he will be back in Europe for some sologigs in April. That would fit in nicely with a Stonestour to start in May.
That's good news. However, Chuck is writing in his diary that he is plannning a solo tour in Germany in 2007. He still wants to wait till he fixes the dates, but he seems positive about it...

No one's suggesting she has an influence - but as the wife (and personal assistant) of one of the band members its quite reasonable for her to have an idea of what her husband's plans will be for most of the next 12 months
If a senior road crew member told someone that he will be working with the Stones in Europe next April, no doubt people would find it believable. That doesnt mean he has any influence on what the bands plans will be.
Hey Glimmer 81, I would put alot more creedence in Jo Wood then Jagger or cohl. At least she had the balls before those two and said Keef is as strong as an ox and the tour will go on before those BIG CHEESES!
I spoke to Jo in 88, and she told me that the boys where gonna tour in 89. Remember, this was after several years of total silence regarding tours and terrible quarrels between Mick and Keith. I don't think anyone could have expected a more fantastic "comeback" (I don't really call it a comeback, because they never quit...) than the Steel Wheels tour.
Bottom line? I trust Jo!

thats true. She was one of the first people in the Stones camp to say anything to reassure fans while information from official sources was practically non existent
i would put money on that fact the stones will play the new wembley stadium in 2007....lol if its finished ..they will want to put there name on that for sure.
I'm sure they have seen the empty seats and this could be a way to redeem themselves. You know Not sh***** on there Euro Fans anymore. Maybe there getting the message.

I would bet they would love to play it and to open it. however, its looking likely now that it wont be ready until June 2007 AT LEAST.

Very silly comments considering she is one of the closest Stones insiders and she is doing her best to give hope to European fans when Cohl and the band are not.

Hey glimmer 81, Obviously you have not been reading what's good for you. If you sat back and read some of the posts regarding your immature statemate and digested some of it you would learn a great deal about the STONES. Because some of the people like Gazza and a few other have a great deal of knowledge about the stones that's second to none. Your comments show your immaturity and lack of knowledge to the STONES>
