Haha, it's not about the money. Very funny indeed. It's only about the money, dude? Is that american enough, dude?

Well lets be honest here. The Stones would have to dig pretty damn deep for that to happen and considering recent opening acts I probably have a better chance of being an opening act than Eric Clapton.

If it is about the money they would have played 10-20 shows in NY, LV and LA. NO. It's about performing to new fans in remote places.

aside from money, its the things that you can buy with money that make touring worth it.

Cool, nice to see a proposed schedule.

There are some things that i've noticed, which havn't been commented on yet.

There are no shows in Toronto. I cant believe there wont be one there, at the ACC or something. They love Toronto.

Also, if these dates are correct, then i can almost guarantee that there will be at least one more date between foxboro and giants stadium. Bands dont start a new tour and then have a full week off after the first show, it doesnt make sense. Perhaps MSG ??

I really wanna see an arena show so im gonna go for vegas, but i would love to go to boston, i have never been there and it would be cool to be at the first show, new set list etc...

yeah. cohl comes from toronto too!!

i find it odd no windsor, toronto, or ottawa.

its actually not my favorite schedule. id hate to see the crowd at the montana show. most likely there will be no one below 35.

Sept 23rd is supposedly going to be the show in Halifax, but if it doesn't go through, maybe they could have MSG then. Windsor, ON was supposed to have a show, but it does not show up on this list.

The Honolulu date is between 2 University of Hawaii American football games on November 18th and 25th at that stadium. They have plenty of time to set upf ro the concert from 19-25th, but not a lot of time to take it all down and make sure it is all set for football on the 25th.

On another thread Bjornulf is indicating that Honolulu is where the world tour will end, but if that is the case, it does not allow for the rumored India, Bangkok and Buenos Aires shows to happen, unless Honolulu is pushed back to December

If my pre-May 9th,2005 membership code that I have been holding onto doesn't get me tickets to the theater show ....

All of the experts were telling people to use their codes and to forget about any theater show but,I rolled the dice and held the code.Time will tell if it ends up paying.

I heard of some pre-May 9 code holders who burned their codes and got 6th row at the LA Forum. No one was complaining.

That show had a decent set list but,the theater show should be more interesting than having only Worried About You,Sway,Far Away Eyes, and cruise control the rest of the way.

Farewell Tour will start this Fall
Posted by: mcparty ()

Rumor:

They will tour this Fall and IT WILL be marketed as the "Farewell Tour".

Look for the Stones in San Francisco first/second week of November.

Does that mean they will stop playing? No, but it does mean this is the last Mega Tour.

It's a rumor, but from a reliable source.
