Of course, this is only my humble opinion so it won't count for much. But I burned myself a version of "Bang" that I enjoy more than the good but flawed (not to mention top heavy) lp we got last year. I can rock out to it in the car and never find myself hitting the skip button. : ) Goes like this:

It's shorter, tighter, has a good balance and leaves out what I consider the kind of generic cock-rockers (no offense intended to those of you that are fans of the omitted songs). "Streets of Love" isn't my favorite, but it adds balance and I confess that I always find myself singing along (though I usually stop when I catch myself). Same goes for "It Won't Take Long" - decent but not a great song by any stretch. But it kind of needs another rocker. As for the other 10 tracks? LOVE them!

Anyway, it's official - "A Better Bang" is my favorite Stones record since "Some Girls"!

Dump "Neo-Con" Add "Under The Radar" as the second track and "We Don't Wanna Go Home" as the last (before "Infamy"), ola, "A Better Bang." Anyway, that's how I did it though I must confess the line-up above appears very strong.

Nice choices, probably about the same ones I'd keep if I had to cut it back a few songs. But I am glad we have all the songs they gave us.

I like this better than any album they've put out since Some Girls. I'm still enjoying it and still have it in heavy rotation. Sounds like a classic to me!

I Love the Album If I had to cut like three it'd be She Saw Me Coming, Look What Cat & We Don't Wanna Go Home. I could pass on these others I like quite a bit some more than others I love Let Me Down Slow!

I'm glad you weren't in charge of picking the tracks for the offical CD. The first two are my favorite songs on A Bigger Bang.

I would remove three songs and maybe add Under the Radar. I would get rid of She Saw Me Coming, Biggest Mistake and Sweet Neocon..
