Favourite Stones videos

They don't have many good videos and I don't mind because I like them for their music, but there are some videos I always love watching.

One Hit - the fight scene between Mick and Keith is awesome. And this "piss-of-man" look at Keith's face!

Too Much Blood - the scene where Keith and Ron are chasing Mick with chainsaws is classic.

Highwire - the whole video is great. Their look, especially Mick in his raincoat is cool.

Sex Drive - Charlie as a psychoanalysist is hilarious!

Oh, yeah! I forgot about the older ones. 2000 Light Years and Child of the Moon are also fantastic!

Especially MTV Music Video Awards 1994

>Saint Of Me by far.

Now that's what they should look and sound like. The best Stones video of the 90'ies. Special mention to Sex Drive and earlier She Was Hot.

There are some from 1966 - Lady Jane, Have you seen your mother (several versions), all done by Peter Whitehead.

best videos? :

Jumpin Jack Flash plus all the New York ones (LIS, WOAF, ABSMB etc)

Yeah, Charlie's very active in that Lady Jane video.

(Also an interesting fact is that the first version of Real Player was introduced as late as in 1995. ;-) )

Saint of Me and Anybody Seen My Baby are by far the best. They are actual "good" music videos and not just performances with cheap sets like most of their videos.

So you're the "into-the-production"-guy, and not the "into-the-music"-guy?

I understand what you mean, but what I mean with a video is like Child Of The Moon or We Love You.

Exactly! What could be better than a Jane Fonda work-out video with the Stones as background music? That's one I can't get enough of . . .

Also love IORR.

I have a soft spot for Waiting On A Friend... So I visited the neighbourhood. Start Me Up is so funny. You can see Charlie laughing at Mick's aerobic-lesson... He does that a lot, laugh at Mick's bum...

'Have you seen your mother video' at Albert Hall in 1966. Stones look cool and the frantic song goes well with the film of people rushing the stage.

no Erik_Snow, I am very much into the music. I think the other videos pay no respect to the actual songs and lyrics and do no justice to the music. Music videos should make sense and portray what the song is about, not just be goofy for the sake of being goofy. Look at Highwire; it has great lyrics, but the music video is just them in some empty warehouse, it makes no sense. The video should have images of what the song is about. That's why Saint of Me and ASMB? are awesome videos.

I Go Wild - both versions,One Hit ....I am a big fan of She Was Hot but,not of its video. She's So Cold is great.
