Too short before the concert!

Nevertheless, if you can sell out a show in december 05 in let's say 5 hours, you do that. otherwise you have to use every thrick in the book to fill the stadium.

And indeed they DO use nearly every trick in the book to fill places.

Enjoy the concert Bart.

Re Hampden SECXTRA
Pitch seating is now going fast.

Only place you can get 3 tickets together is A7 Row 16

1 + 2 ticket searchs throws up A7 + B7 thats it.

Nothing on Ronnies side left.

Unless they release some more of course Ha Ha.

In the Stands you can still get 8 tickets in the same row in 14 different locations so thay are still not selling so well.

Well I think there where between 15.000 and 20.000 unsold tickets. They had put black banners on complete sections in the wings, so that it wouldn't appaer on the video wall.

Well, I hope my message came through! My sign "JAGGER REFUND MY 871,80 EURO" appaered 3 times on the video wall. a hattrick!

Will there be also 15.000 to 20.000 tickets leftover in Hanover?
Or is the stadium smaller in Hanover?

Somehow, I don't think that your sign will be on the official tour DVD.

Indeed, if this is a trend in Germany and Holland staduimtouring is over. Those two countries were the moneymachines for the Stones.

I think the reason for the implosion of those markets is the economic crisis due to the concertion to the Euro. (Especially in Germany where everything costs nowdays in Eoro the amount it used to be in DM before 1/1/2002. So prices are doubled over the last 4,5 years. The wages off course stayed practiccaly the same.

I mean a beer for 3 Euro in the olympiastadium? During no secrurity that was 3 DM.

Just curious, but why is all this of such importance to you ? I mean really, as long as you're there and the Stones put on a fantastic show, what do you bloody care if they could've squeezed another 10, 20 or 10,000 people into the sodding venue ? What's the big deal here ?

They don't have any respect enymore for there fans, and I want to prove that! It really hurt, you know, to see that the stones are only in it for the money!
I think that the German audiance prove me right!

They have to downscale the operation, because the market is now going to play against them.

New desperate trick: if nobody want to buy you're tickets and you are desperate: throw a couple of hundred tickets to the media for concours, so you get extra publicity and the people who won nothing will mayby buy a ticket!

I got following e-mails from eventim: there are afraid that I forgot that I have to go to Hannover and Koln to see the stones. perhaps they blame the ticketholders that the stadium in Munchen was empty: people had tickets but thought the whole tour was cancelled.

They could better refund my Frankfurt ticket, instaed of sending panic e-mails.

Especially the "Lieber Rolling Stones Fan" did for me the trick. I will take my responcibility and use my tickets, but my refund sign will be on the videowall again!!!!

bartfrombrussels old chap ............ we get the point. You're not a happy bunny. Get over it. But if it pleases you, do by all means provide us with an accurate count of how many empty seats there are at Hanover and Koln. We're just "dyin" to know ......... ?? It will enrich our lives, and no doubt Gazza will be able to make good use of this invaluable information and incorporate it into future statistical analyses of diminishing attendances at Rolling Stones concerts - details of which will be published in the annual company report to the shareholders 2006 in histogram form !!

I think I will stop being a Stones fan now that I hear they are a total failure. I mean I love their music and their shows but I just can't stand to be in a stadium knowing these guys are loosers, with empty seats. They are going under. This is the end.

I agree. I can't stand it either. I've had enough. I couldn't live with myself if I were to continue following this bunch of losers around. Anyone want my tickets ? Going cheap. Nice, Porto, Valladolid, all UK shows ............ anyone ??????

Is Eventim.de "SaalPlan" reliable ? I just checked for Stuttgart. The map is showing a green FOS . But on the other hand, you just cannot buy tickets for it. I also noticed that this FOS was red some days ago which is more consistent !!!

Re: Is there one European show that is completly sold out?
Posted by: Spud ()
Date: July 21, 2006 15:54

There may well have been considerable numbers of empty seats in stadiums...but don't put too much store in pictures revealing empty spaces.
Don't forget that high numbers of folks end up abandoning their seats and squashing in with those further forward or on the pitch. Venues can never enforce allocated seating... and I don't know why they even try.

Yes, you can buy FOS-Tickets for Stuttgart on eventim.de !
click in the green field and than on the next page click on FRONT OF STAGE Innenraum. Then it will show you your Ticket below and you can put it in the Shopping cart (Warenkorb)
