F.Y.i. Hannover 10.000 unsold tickets and Berlin 20.000 unsold tickets.

BTW: I loved the shows, both of them. Ronnie is really good at the moment (Hannover MR solo and Berlin YCAGWYW solo). Keith is also getting into it.

Tomorrow Koln. This will indeed been almost sold out. Finally!!!!

By pure curiosity why is the Berlin Rundfuk wrote " nearly sold out " ? 20,000 should be nearly one third of availability. As for Hannover, papers reported 45,000 and on the 2006 Report is showed 40,000 ?

Because in todays Berliner Zeiting is written that 20 % of the tickets where unsold! My estmation is higher!

Well in Germany, there was in Munchen, Hanover and Berlin NO WAY to get from the theirs to the pitch!

I saw yesterday someone who tried to force his way into the innenraum, get removed with violence from the staduim. Game over for him + a black eye. Surrealistic BTW to see those shouting and hitting security people in the Olympic stadium of the Nazis. Brrrr. The '30 where back.

Also surrealistic to hear Jagger sing "when the blitzkrieg raized and the bodies stank" in that stadium.

Well, I have to admit that Köln was sold out for 95´%. It was not comtletly sold out, but almost!

So for arguments sake let's say it was sold out.

Kind of embarrising to put it this way, but it's like that.

well I meant on the forums, so the latter tally is pretty irrelevant, if somewhat impressive

Paris still has 4144 tickets left on Tcketnet.fr
I doubt they will shift them all by Fri.

a bit unfair, Bart. The same could easily have happened in any stadium in the world and you or no one else wouldnt have seen it worthy of drawing any parallels, I think. Its quite obvious from having spent a few days in Berlin that the Germans of today have moved on and that they certainly cant be accused of glossing over the past. Time we all did.

would have been even more apropriate to have hear them play it in St Petersburg had the show there not have been cancelled, dont you think?!!

Dear Gaza

I thought the Blitzkrieg was the one on the Western front (Belguim, France) in the spring of 1940?

Off course the german people of today have nothing to do with the things their grandparents did during the '30 and '40. But in 63 Stones concerts I never saw such a violence as last friday in Berlin. (OK, I wasn't in Altamont). So I thought that in that stadium with such a symbolic past the securty should be extra carefull before using any violence.

PS: I think that its more important to be present at a stones concert than to be present on a Stones forum. If 63 is somewhat impressive, Which number deserves the qualification impressive or even very impressive?

cant say I noticed anything untoward myself. Guess it depends where you were

personally I think the location is of absolutely zero significance

I dont think either is 'important' at all!

Onstage tickets for Paris costs 'only' 350 Euro instead of 450!
Ticketnet.Fr still has them, along with more that 4.000 other tickets!

So still not one single sold out concert!

I still found Eventime Saalplan a very funny game to play with. Yesterday evening and this morning, for Stuttgart gig, the GA was red ( i.e. full). This afternoon it turns to orange and tonight to green. I suppose they are adding extra tix upon demand. Now if you look at most the orange space in detail, only a few ( and it means five max ) tix are unsold. In the most expensive seats, in green, they miss most of the time 20. Thus we are allowed to write that this show is sold out.
