Great album.
Thanks Hairball for reminding of this great band..........not sure the Stones or the Beatles ever mentioned being influenced by them ....but they sure were great in 60 till '63.....

Not sure about the Beatles or Stones mentioning them, but more than likely yes.
I know there have been dozens if not hundreds of guitar players that have cited Hank Marvin as an inspiration and someone they looked up to.

) of American surf music guitarists were influenced by The Shadows and Hank Marvin's style and sound.
When I was younger I used to think that for sure Apache was by an American surf band, but lo and behold - Hank Marvin and the Shadows!
