Great irish song... possibly the hardest thing to sing, try to follow the first part:

In the merry month of May, From my home I started,
Left the girls of Tuam, Nearly broken hearted,
Saluted father dear, Kissed my darlin' mother,
Drank a pint of beer, My grief and tears to smother,
Then off to reap the corn, And leave where I was born,
I cut a stout blackthorn, To banish ghost and goblin,
In a brand new pair of brogues, I rattled o'er the bogs,
And frightened all the dogs,On the rocky road to Dublin.

One, two, three, four five,
Hunt the hare and turn her
Down the rocky road
And all the ways to Dublin,
Whack-fol-lol-de-ra.

"Short Cut Draw Blood" a 1975 album by Jim Capaldi. A really nice album.

Beth Hart - Bang Bang Boom Boom Just received the album from Amazon and it's on it's first play. Through track 8 no jaw dropping moments but some pretty good listening. "I'd Rather Go Blind" w/ Jeff Beck @ Kennedy Center is included as a bonus track so it will be nice to have an actual recording of that.

Others received from Amazon today which will be listened to after Beth finishes:

Ray Charles - The Very Best of, 2 CD Set Already have a bunch of the songs in the collection but I find I can't have to much Ray and until now, I didn't have a full, two part version of "What'd I Say" and was always ticked when the song "didn't finish"! Problem now solved.

The James Hunter Six - Minute By Minute I'm a big fan of James Hunter and look forward to hearing the new line-up.

Taj Mahal - The Hidden Treasures of, 1969-1973 I have most of Taj's catalog so a collection of rarities plus a bonus 1970 Royal Albert Hall live recording was something I couldn't say no to!

Peace,
Mr DJA

I'm listening right now to the score of Skyfall. I'm also a hugh James Bond fan.
I have here the FYC release, which is made for the members of the Academy Awards so they can vote. It's not realy a lot longer then the retail release (5 minutes or so), but a nice one to have in my collection.

Thanks for posting!

Appears to have brought a tear to the eyes of a few who were there as well. They actually played that performance on the news segment of a local radio station here in Knoxville, TN this morning.

Peace,
Mr DJA
