Fantastic....well done France....should be a great final. My heart, however, is with Italy, and wouldn't that be great for the start of the tour in the San Siro, atmosphere would be pumped up from the start !!!

Yep. But they looked really, really exhausted at the end of the game. Don't know a god damn thing about football, but in the whole it seems to me that Portugal could have also won.




Rugby is a joy to me. Worldcup is in 2007 in France.

I see portugal were up to there cheating diving ways again last night! Wasn't it great to see Ronaldo crying (again)! The only way Portugal would have scored was through a Barthez cock-up..

Portugal couldn't score a goal against England even with ten men or against France.

really disappointed in the WC since it reached the last 16 KO stages.
- defensive, cheating, uncreative and largely average games and performances.

Hopefully the final will be exciting and open -
a stalemate which is decided on pens, would be a terrible shame but indicitive of this tournament.
An early French goal would help- Italy would have to go forward and attack.

As I lived in Italy for 11 years, I'm for Italy. Plus the fact that I'll be in Milan next week so I will see Jagger wear a T-shirt from la squadra, say something about Italy being WC and showing the winning goals on the screen just before the encore. How predictable but still nice.

All his fake dives made him deserve it, but it's a shame the French won by a penalty goal. Another rewarded 'schwalbe'.

Not really a schwalbe. Still I'm very disappointed the way players nowadays fall and act like they were almost killed. Fair play?

Dis you think it was a penalty? Henry didn't HAVE to fall. But you're right about players acting more and more. Overpayed sissies, they should be forced to play a match against rugby players every year, to remember what it was to be tackled and go down properly.
