before or after the show? I'm never into pre-partying, I like to be at the stadium as early as possible just waiting. Can't even think about anything else but the show. After the concert when the tension is gone it is another story and I hope to party a lot...

are you allowed to go to the stage when our boys do the soundcheck/rehearsals?

I was there when springsteen did his soundcheck and was not allowed to go anywhere near the stage.

Has anybody experience with stones soundchecks?

I'd prefer a post-party as well (want to be the first to run to the b-stage and don't move from there)! When does the pre-party start? There will also be about 10 or so other students with me (if prices were lower we would be hundreds...), so perhaps we just bring some six packs and have fun while waiting to get in.

@Ungarisches Wildschwein: die richtigen Heurigen sind alle außerhalb, würde ich sagen. Aber die sind ohnehin nach dem Konzert nicht mehr offen.

Danke für den Hinweis. Wir sind schon am 13-en in Vienna und paar Viertel Blaufränkisch (z.B. aus Rust) wären nicht verkehrt. Wenn alle Heuriger aussehalb sind, dann sehen wir uns den Brian Film an. STONED läuft auch in Vienna, nehme ich mal an.

Still no opening act announced for the Vienna show.

Strange, but I guess handling it that way might mean it will be a local act...

Nothing about the opening act so far.
But there is lots of promotion now (Twickenham concert today on ORF1), I guess they have to sell the last tickets - all categories are still available. Last time we had the Counting Crows as opening act, let's see what it will be this time. I somehow doubt that it will be an Austrian band.

Schweizerhaus will close at 11:30 pm, so you have to go there before the show (they have budweiser beer, > the real one, not that strange kind of water-beer from usa)
After the show you can go in the first district, there are a lot of bars which are close together (club berlin, kolar,........)

I think so - but I saw her in Klosterneuburg a few weeks ago and she's mainly atracting girls in the age of 7 to 13 any my son LOL. So it might be the wrong place for her anyway.

Would be my nightmare as well because he would freak out on my shoulders for an hour or so and then I might end up watching the Stones from the red-cross tent...;-p

mike567 - wrong point of view - I haven't been to Klosterneuburg for Christl Stürmer - I actually live in Kloburg and my son is going to school here as well (GaLeMo - a Montessori-school near to the Weidlinger Bahnhof) ;-)
