AC/DC agreed. i'm sure you'll find Neil had toured since Greendale at least once if not twice. he's had two albums out since then too

AC/DC
The Police
Hanoi Rocks (in the US, last time aborted 1984 tour)
Therapy? (in the US, last time 1996)
Beasts Of Bourbon (not sure if they ever played here)

other than that I pretty much seen everyone I wanted to

I thought AC/DC's new album would have been out by now but haven't heard any word yet.
I think Eddie dislikes Sammy more than he dislikes DLR at this point. Read that on their 04 tour, the two VH brothers travelled in one jet and Sammy and Mike Anthony travelled in another. Also, Sammy and Eddie had to be physically separated backstage at one point. Eddie's drinking is the main problem as well as his marriage falling apart.
In an interview with Mike earlier this year, he said that when they tried to get back together with DLR a few years ago, things fell apart, but when they rehearsed, he said the old magic was back instantly.

Bob Seger has a new album coming out with Kid Rock helping out so hopefully he gets back on the road.

I think Steve Miller usually does the Summer tour schedule similar to guys like Jimmy Buffet, but I'm not sure if he's doing anything this year.

I had tickets to see Hanoi Rocks at the Key Club in Los Angeles with Ian Hunter for March of 2005 but it got cancelled along with the whole US tour. First time in years I was actually excited about a concert. Pretty much lost all interest in live music, even the Stones after that. STill went to some Stones shows but with absolute rock bottom expenses.

What the Clash touring w/out Joe Strummer?? What next, the Doors touring w/out Jim morrison???!!!

I agree with Duane in Houston, Ten Years After, the ORIGINAL group. The one touring as "Ten Years After" now is without Alvin Lee. How can there be a TYA without Alvin Lee??!?

same as there can be a Tommy Dorsey orchestra without a single member of the original band.

The Smashing Pumpkins need to hurry up and come back and kick everyone's ass.

Ten Years After in 1999 with all original members at the House Of Blues was an amazing show.

Sammy H is touring with Michael Anthony this summer. Don't know how extensive the tour is or what they would play. I would guess VH plus Hagar solo songs.
Without Eddie I would not go out of my way to see, but thought I would mention it

the difference between a Tommy Dorsey band and TYA is that Tommy Dorsey is dead and Alvin Lee isn't . . .

I'll second that.

Haven't seen him since 1992.

I say AC/DC for sure! I've only seen them once and I'd love to see them again. I also say the Police. Sting, Andy Summers and Stewart Copeland should reunite and record a new album with a new tour. I've been a Police fan since '79 and was extremely pissed when my sister didn't take me to the Police Picnic (in Toronto) back in '83 I believe it was. Little did we know that they would soon break up. Sorry, but Sting's solo work just doesn't do it for me. I want all 3 freakin' members of the band to give us all something new! Keepin' my fingers crossed! smiling smiley

Hanoi Rocks would be great, one of the great rock bands I have never seen.
Xpensive Winos also would be cool, but I would rather the Stones roll 4ever smiling smiley

other great acts would be

J Geils Band
Screeching Weasel
The Faces (if Rod can even still bring it)
Izzy Stradlin
VH with Roth
Led Zepplin

been a while for Metallica as well.

Confession... I must have been on my 8th drink when I started this thread... it says I stared it 6-21 at 1am... have absolutely no recollection of doing so, lol. But it is a cool thread!
