I don't understand why Maradona is banned to enter Japan right now though Keith Richards is not.
I remember Maradona was god in FIFA World Youth tournament in Tokyo in 1979.

BTW, I know German Burgos is real Stones Freak.

To add another word, I think Juan Sorin is one of the best player in the world right now and I miss Juan Sebastián Verón.

I think that is remarkable that you pick Tardelli as the greatest from that Juve team that was so filled with stars: Zoff, Scirea, Cappello, Causio, Bennetti. Who was that guy who played ala sinistra? He was incredible; can't rememebr his name.

Bettega! That is his name. And Anastasi, Cabrini and Gentile. I hate to say this, but Gentile was the dirtiest player I hav ever seen.

Gentile was a killer like Diego Simeone but I know Zico praised Gentile's marking technique.

It's a really cool picture.Maradona and Ronnie.I adore both of them but luckily ronnie is still playing.I think maradona must have been the most succesful player of all the time.Unfortunately he couldn't.He had the talent but he screw his whole life.Poor chap!anyway it was good to see him in a better shape

Tardelli was the biggest.
He knew how to defend and to attach, knew how to beat and to make goal.
Tardelli was like a player of fantastic Holland of '80.
Bettega,Causio,Cabrini, ecc.was great player but not complete like Marco Tardelli

the guys on each side of pix are from ratones paranoicos an argentine band that sounds a ton like the rolling stones.. some of their early stuff from 1988 is killer....highly recommended....

maradona was the man on the pitch... but he's an ass off it.. .what you going to do? some people like to think one invalidates the other but it ain't so..

i will add i met maradona in late 1981 or early 1982 on a boca juniors tour of japan before he set sail for barcelona... he was such a great humble young kid back then...such a nice guy..but fame and money can corrupt and they did in his case...some can handle it and some can't...

he was incredible in 1986 and on one leg in 1990.... and i wish the english would stop whining about the "hand of god", focus on the second goal or on the two he scored against belgium and realize that they could have never beat argentina with diego... if argentina needed it hewould have scored another! just like against germany in the final when the germans came back and tied it and everyone thought argentina was toast and maradona threaded that beautiful pass for the third goal (exposing the german offside trap for what it was...slow and weak..like against costa rica??!?! unreal)

Maradona is having a good health now. he seems to be far from dope. the girl in the stadium is his younger dauther (officialy) Giannina.
Leandro from Argentina.
