So what does that mean for the German tour??? Come on, HighwireC, tell us!
This doesn't really look good for the three German dates ! Why should they stop selling tickets for these three shows ? Looks like the tour will be postponed at least another week and the tour opener will be.......MUNICH again! Forget about Vienna on the 14th of July. If there is a show on this date it is Frankfurt.
I hope, oeticket was right with Vienna July 14th. So the tour will start and I hope, some concerts will happen in Germany, too. I'm waiting still for a complete new tourschedule in the next few days, perhaps after Chalies and Ronnies birthdays.
Skip it, it will be the wonderous tour and not the bigger bang tour anymore. The bang exploded down under and left us since. I do not see any dates in save heaven. and after all the informations policy I honestly do not want to see any of the shows at this time. Rather skip the whole tour and start new again. Be fair to the fans who want their money back and to the fans who would like to see a real tour with reliable dates.
What about these people that bought no refundable airline tickets and hotel rooms? If a show get cancelled beacause of illness you maybe have to accept it. But in this case?

you must be joking, Lodge. There are almost a million people already holding tickets for 20 shows that are due to take place from mid July onwards - and many of them have spent a lot extra on (non refundable) flights and hotels as well. Given the choice between those shows taking place and maybe having the opportunity to see extra shows next year as well or having to wait for a year to see the entire tour I would say its something of a no-brainer.
I have trips planned for 5 shows from Berlin through to Glasgow. If Keith is fit enough to play those shows, I want to see them in 2006 - it makes no sense to postpone 35 shows for a year when theyre capable of playing most of them this summer. Its bad enough to inconvenience people who have tickets for the first 15 shows. Doing the same to those with tickets for the rest of the tour when theres no need to do so would be outrageous. I'd be bloody livid if they did what you suggested

Chaos is a good choice of words, Baboon Bro. If they change all the Euro dates, that will really create massive choas. Yet in spite of all the inconvenience and added expense, most people will rearrange their schedules. I'm glad I didnt book my airline flight to London yet, but those dates should be the same. Still, I'm being cautious until The Stones bust out of hiding.
tomorrow! (at this point today) - excellent. i can't wait until next week but at the same time, i don't really want to know. considering the fact i just bought another flight to europe for amsterdam. fingers crossed...

right on the money with this and also with the date of the announcement too. Well done
