your header states "postponed" and your text states "cancelled". By 'more' do you mean shows after July 5th being postponed/cancelled due to ill-health or just rescheduled for logistical reasons?

and does 'new dates' mean shows that werent on the itinerary to begin with?

hopefully a 'completely' rescheduled tour doesnt mean EVERY show being changed. Would make no sense

So what's new?! :-)

The resheduling of the tour will be made trying to minimize the costs. This means:

- Venues with poor pre-sales will be cancelled.
- Large venues with lots of tix already sold will be confirmed, as far as possible, or at the worst posponed.

If it is true that tickets did not sell fast in germany due to the wordld cup, I think that is is very likely that the german leg will be drastically reduced accordingly.

where did you hear that? Radio? TV News, promotor words? If you're trying to tell us something new than do it instead of throwing a hint here and there, without revealing your sources. These kinds of posts already made a great confusion through this whole story....

BTW, I emailed polish promotor do they know anything about Warsaw gig and here's their reply from today. It says that they are awaiting 'the band' to give them a new date of the show and that they were assured that the gig will take place till the end of September (sounds like they got official word on that)

If they really would redo all these gigs in September the weather should be as stable as in 2003 and that was an exceptional year. It did not rain once from 4rth June until 2nd October in Zürich. However the next day after Zürich it snowed down to the place where we lived.
You must be lucky....

Not going to change my plans now anyway as only have the dates I have booke free to travel.

If they are planning Sep / Oct then possible may manage another show if it is at a weekend just have to wait and see.

i also have some seemingly good news. although tim ries sounds a litte more tentative in his replies, he forwarded an email of mine to his agent who emailed me the following today:

Happy to See Stuttgart mentioned was beginning to think it may get moved.

Will still wait and see before I book Hotel ,if they dont play may spend the extra day somewhere else before we go to Stuttgart.

The Twickenham shows are scheduled for August 20th and 22nd.

Well actually the message is only or those who bought special packages and they were only available for Fraknfurt, Mucnich and Koln. So, there's obviously Koln show missing on the list.Hannover, Berlin, Stuttgart, Leipzig and Nurnber had no special packages available so that's why they are not mentioned in the email you quoted.
