Yeah, I wonder why the cancelled the one in June and July, but none of the ones in between those two shows. I'll check another thread, perhaps someone already posted the answer.
My idea (just an idea) : The stade de France was upset about the Stones not giving infos about the 3rd of june and decided to cancel both shows. No new dates to expect at least in this stadium
Yeah, that's why it's so strange that the Paris shows aren't just postponed. Maybe it's a sign that the shows won't be at the Stade de France. How did the sales go at those shows anyway?
First I thought it was because of space for other shows. Paris can be scheduled a lot later in the year than the Nordic shows, but now with the more and more hints towards a tourstart mid July that is the reason....
perhaps they two Paris shows will be relocated to a big 200000 people capacity field?
Or maybe the Stones will do something like the Copacabana-concert in Europe: all the rescheduled shows combined to a big one (certainly not for free, contrary to Rio)

Maybe, so the Stones and their management @#$%& it up big time, this time.
maybe it's a problem with the venue, maybe with the promoters - on the other Paris thread someone quoted the announcement mentioning possible new dates, so ... ?

great, a free show for all the unsatisfied and angry RS.COM victims. You just need the RS.COM invoice, or the flight ticket or the hotel receipt of your planned Stones travel.
If they will tour Europe, they will of course play Paris. Maybe Stade de France is not avaible for any other dates, so that's why they cancell the shows at SDF, and will announce a new venue. But the strange fact is that the second show is cancelled. In mye ears, that sounds like no shows in june.

I feel like a victim of unprofessionalism and misinformation by an official fansite of my favourite band. As a victim you donĀ“t need to die.
The worst thing is the fact that thousands and thousands of uninformed ticketholders are ready to attend shows in Spain, Belgium, France, Norway, Denmark etc. Hardcore fans like us read news on IORR or Shidobee every single day, and are always updated. But most ticketholders don't even know about these forums, and it is Rolling Stones' responsibility to inform their customers.
Maybe they want to reduce the number of shows in order to have free dates to put postponed shows in. So instead two shows in Paris they may be going to do one bigger show there and they will have one free date to put another show in. That's only my interpretation, though.
