Hi,

I got a phone call from EMI - SWITZERLAND (GENEVA) THIS MORNING

BARCELONA - MADRID - BRUSSELS - PARIS (27,29 May and 1,3 June) IS DELAYED !!!

EMI got this information this morning too !!!

Which means, that, accoring to EMI - Switzerland, these are the ONLY shows being delayed, or, that AT LEAST these three shows will be delayed ?

at the 10th of June.

Well that is not really news. We knew that already before. I just hoped that it was another type of news we would get like when does the european tour start? That would be fresh news....

No shows likely before 01 July, due to Keith's recovery time, and that may be optimistic....

I just read in the New York Post that ABC will announce Jagger's sitcom tommorrow. It also states that due to Keith's injury that Jagger will be free this summer and fall.

May be a really dumb question, but what does EMI have to do with the delay of the concerts?

Re: CONCERTS NEWS

Norwegian newspaper BT (The local newspaper in Bergen) is refering to the article in Swedish Expressen, and saying that the concert in Gothenburg is cancelled. The Norwegian promotor, Bergen Live, denies that by saying that it's just rumors, and that they haven't received any info that the concerts will be cancelled/postponed yet.

The article is also refering to Horsens Folkeblad (The local newspaper in Horsens) who reports that the Danish promotor, Eigils, says that they have been informed that Keith will have a scan of his brain today, and his doctors will probably know more after the results of that scan.

See article in BT:

and in Horsens Folkeblad:

It really doesn't matter in what order the shows will come
as long as the Stones can deliver them without any problems.

Been Stoned since 1964 and still am!

I am not a doctor (I concede this start is a bit mellow)

But speaking about Keith recovery, do you have a difference on a medical point of view between a show in an arena (sort of cool temperature) and a hot stadium show in August in Spain ?

Any major invasive surgery saps your strength, so there it would clearly be easier in MOST cases, for a show to be on a smaller stage in an arena in cooler temperatures. If they do stadiums, do not expect Keith to be running up and down the side ramps.

It was not major invasive surgery or he would still be in the hospital bed.Stay cool.

from the RS.com site, i found the link to a french fan club site which claims every show up to and including horsens is "reporte" (put back=delayed). anyone know where they might have gotten this information?
