Caught a drumstick from Charlie? Yes, in Stockholm 98.
Was I allowed to keep it for more than two seconds? No. Two @#$%& decided they should have it instead.

My friend caught Charlie's drumstick at the Stockholm 95 show. It bounced off the top of my hand and ended up in his. I was glad one of us got it.

I do have one of Charlie's drumsticks, though. I didn't catch it during a show, it was given to me by a crew member before a show in 03.

Yeah it landed in my right eye. Although I lost the eye I think it´s worth it. I have bought a drum set by now, but I am still waiting to catch a second stick to be able to start rocking.

Ah yeah I heard he loves giving out free chicken to the masses at certain shows...

I caught a Drumstick in the back of my head from Buzzcut, the drummer in our old band "PUS" when he passed out at his kit....5 blue Valiums and a giant swig of vodka kinda made him pass out about 10 minutes later. We were in the middle of a prolonged "Sympathy for thr Devil" Jam... what a time to stop playing - we were riding the wave....

I had my hands on one in MSG in September 2005, but an @#$%& stole it from me. He was thrown out of the venue minutes after, but he got the drumstick..

I'v got a pick from Keith though.... NICE!

If you catch the second one with the other eye you should start

Yes indeed. It was at the 1st London Wembley Arena Show during Licks Tour.
At the end of the show I was watching Lisa :-) when I heard a bumping sound and someone saying "OUCH" right behind me. When I turned around I saw my wife holding the drumstick in her hand. Apparently it bounced off of the guy's head behind us and my wife caught it. So we were quite lucky eh? No need to say that I hid the drumstick in my trousers right away and left the arena as fast as we could ... walking in a strange way though. But yes, it is one of our greatest tour souvenirs.

Don't want to be a spoilsport but...
...I hate that! I mean a GUITAR (Townshend at Woodstock?) one can kinda see coming, but a DRUM STICK!! Hmmm... This gimmick surprises me coming from a cerebral gentleman such as Charlie.
Musicians usually complain about stuff landing on the stage (Ian Anderson almost lost an eye once to a rose landing in his face.) Now the poor unwary jone who checks out Lisa (...) can receive a solid wood stick right in the forehead...

I catch one in London, Wembley Arena, sep 15 after the B-stage set. I remember it well.

Sydney,licks tour, 2nd arenashow,Superdome.B-stage; I was as close to Charlie as one can get, smiling at him, he's my hero, I learned to play the drums, drumming along to Get yer yaya's out.....magic, Charlie spots me and gives me the warmest smile he has in store, amazing, for sure he saw in my eyes the appreciation and happines, just all that, folks. At the end of Bstage performance, he stands up from the drumstool, looks at me, smiles again and throws me one of his sticks.....incredible....but, the guy behind me grabs it out of my hands.....I was so sad, looked at him and thought something like ' at least I had genuine eyecontact with Charlie'. One of the greatest people in Rock and Roll.
