Tatoo You - Raided Vault to Support 1981 Tour

We all know the stones raided the vault to get a record out for the 1981 tour.
My question they found the ROCK VERSION of Start Me UP going through the outtakes in the studio and later had time to Overdue some guitar parts. But they
used the original Waiting on a Friend with Taylor's rhythm guitar and used Tops
with Taylor.Did they not have time to get rid of Taylor's parts or kept them because of time constraints,. You have Keith the greatest rhythm player to play
on Waiting On a Friend etc.

So whats the deal - The stones went ahead and released Tatoo You and did not tell Taylor and Taylor found out from John Mayall when Taylor was with the bluesbreakers. Did Taylor get Compensation

Another question was Taylor ever on Start Me Up and was there a Taylor solo on
Waiting on A Friend instead of a sax solo at some point during that process.

I think SMU was recorded first during the Some Girls sessions, so Ronnie not Mick T.

The only known version of WOAF from the taylor era is the "Waiting on my Friend" embryonic version from Kingston in late 1972

the released version all comes from the 1981 session I think, although the song was unearthed again in 1979
