Loosing stuff in the mail....

I just wondered....
most of you order bootlegs (or officials) via mail.
I've ordered CDs about 100-150 times.
During the last 6 months, I've lost 140 euro and one original VGP Heartbreakers In Buffalo.
I got the 140 euro back, through insurance, but I never got anything for my precious Buffalo bootleg.
Am I the only one? Please give your story, to cheer me up from my Buffalo-nightmare.....
Now, I'm worried about each bill I send.

C'mon put it back up.
I read it for instance, but I haven't had any experience in ordering & losing CD's
so I didn't respond.

give it another try

If the seller received your payment,it should be on them to get you what you paid for.I have only had one cdr shipment get lost & the trader re-burned them.

Agreed. Goats Head Soup is up there among the best Stones stuff there is.
If the BIG FOUR was extended to the BIG FIVE, GHS would be number 5 IMCO.
"Winter" is a lovely song for every season including summer.MEZ

and Ay ay baby it hurts

In the last 2 months...

My Credit card statement

My New Debit Card.

1 Pair of Shoes.

2 Lighters both sent seperately.

All missing in the post...

Beginning to think they have a theif in the local sorting office as I know my postman and he is great.

Agree with Theif in the Night it is up to the seller to replace missing items and claim off the postal service.

No Cds or DVds gone missing though.

Gazza sent me advd three times; first two times just vanished.
On the other hand my didgeridoo & kangaroo-friend from Melbourne area
sent me beer that got thru right away. But then the freight costed
as much as a half Stones FOS ticket.

I got tickets for the Vienna concert send to a hotel in Austria in 98.
The woman who owned the place stole them, even though it was a "sign-when-you-recieve"-letter. I spotted the tickets through an open door behind the desk.
She said she hadn't seen the tickets, I had to threaten her with calling the police (I know it seemed useless), and then she started crying, and gave me the tickets.
I'll never use that hotel again....but it was a nice place otherwise.

Yea I was upset. But there was no point in going on about it afterwards...
This was in Zillertal (near Mayrhofen) in the Alps. She probably didn't have a chance to go to the concert anyway. She just saw that it was a registered letter, and thought it was money.
So, my advice is to not date a 40-year old woman from Zillertal, who runs a hotel. It won't be a good relationship.

I guess you where happy and in a good mood after seeing the Stones, anyway.

Lets hope she learend her lesson, I wouldn't like to think bad about every 40ish Hotel manager from the start.
