When I translate "Onerous orders" in Dutch you will get "zware orden" it's not common to use this sentence (bit old fasion way of writting).
We now would say a place where they have a strict regime.

it's not a standard phrase in English -
quite unusual wording, and it sounds good

"What do you want - what?!"

You're welcome...

By the way, the name is a reference to Andrew Loog Oldham's mid-60's plan to have the Stones star in a film version of Anthony Burgess' A Clockwork Orange. In the slang that Burgess created, "droog" meant "friend."

As a film lover, I'm glad it never got made, because it probably would have been a trash-teen flick, and we would have never had the Kubrick classic that came out in '71.

But as a Stones fan, well, who knows--it might have been real interesting.

Anyway, the name is just a silly rhyme. (I was desperate. At that point, all of the good names were already taken!) Am I "Oldham's Friend?"

I think we all should be. Like him or not, without him, the Rolling Stones as we know them would not exist.

Anyway, thanks for the kind words.

Back to the original topic: That Hillary comment that guy made was ridiculous!!

There was me, that is Alex, and my three droogs, that is Pete, Georgie, and Dim, and we sat in the Korova Milkbar trying to make up our rassoodocks what to do with the evening. The Korova milkbar sold milk-plus, milk plus vellocet or synthemesc or drencrom, which is what we were drinking. This would sharpen you up and make you ready for a bit of the old ultra-violence

Thanks loog droog....The guy that made "that Hillary comment" posts these crazy comments seemingly in an effort to lure me into an argument with him. I am so flattered. Let's see if my friend wants to come out and play.
