Well? It's a great song. It's got the nice riff, and then it has the groovy part in the middle, and then Ronnie's super cool wah solo. What if we replace You Got Me Rocking with this one? It's such a nice song. They showed they can still pull it of in 2003, so come on, do this one again!

Great song, live and studio. Don't know why they dropped it, but it sure is lots better then You Got Me Rocking?

I agree nikki....i think the Stones should experiment with more songs as openers...........

...but they won't....they have settled on warhorses as openers since the B2B tour - 10 years. as much as many of us like songs like IYCRM, there ain't a chance in hell of a relatively obscure song like that opening the show....

that's so stupid, though! everybody's standing and excited when the stones first take the stage - why waste the momentum on something as predictable as "satisfaction," as they did in melbourne?

.............can you imagine if they opened a show with Star Star, or Around and Around, or etc etc etc etc etc.........

of course, OpenG - that's a given. However, there are versions of it from the Licks tour where Woody plays credibly on it - wah-wah is one of the tricks that he can use to "mask" his left hand problems....

one of the worst versions of the song - the show before was nailed, though. On the FF MSG version, Keith screws up the bridge part, which throws Ronnie off...they do manage to finally get it together, but overall, it was not one of the best....

No man, the Forty Flicks version is really good! And imagine, if that was one of the less good versions, I wonder how their good ones sound.

check out the prior MSG (great soundboard) version to find one that really cooks

The Staples Center '02 version is excellent.Honorable mention goes to Toronto 8/16/'02 ,Boston '03,Oklahoma City '03,and Brisbane,Australia '03 if I recall correctly.I would prefer Dance Little Sister or maybe even I'm Going Down from the Metamorphosis lp or I Go Wild or Tie You Up or Sad Sad Sad.Well,I actually would like to have You Got Me Rocking replaced by anything at all.Beggars can't be chosers.
