Anyone know what's out there from these two shows? Only what's on L&G? Must have been two really good conserts! I've heard that the version of All Down The Line one can see on the C.S. Blues movie has the audio frome one of these shows. Are there any boots that has any material thats not on L&G?

Houston is one of the few shows that's not available at all from 1972, I mean from audience source. We only got these 6-8 songs from L&G.

It's weird that no one taped any of these two shows, but I never heard of it before either. Though I heard that at least the version of All Down The Line from the C.S. Blues is available as bonus material on one of the L&G DVD's.

All Down The Line from CSBlues is from Winterland, that's true.
But S.T.P mentioned a bonus-version of ADTL. The bonus-version can't be the same as the CSBlues version, can it?

BTW, what was the matter with the Texan audiences in the 60s & 70s? The only recordings we've got (almost) from Texas is soundboard recordings, made by the Stones themselves.
Nobody recorded Dallas 69 - Auburn 69 - Houston 72 - San Antonio 75 - Dallas 75 - Fort Worth 78

Only All Down The Line from the 2nd show (Houston) exists. Damn these microphone-free cowboys!

Yes, the whole version does exist. Pro shot video with soundboard audio of both "Happy" and "All Down The Line" from Houston 06-25-72 (1st show) are circulating on DVD.

Oh, my, am I wrong again?! ADTL on L&G are from the 2nd show. Where is the 1st show version available, Tornandfrayed?

Both tracks are L&G outtakes, pretty good quality.
The DVD is widely available and should be easy to find in trading circles.
I know I have seen it being offered for trade on this board (that´s how I found my copy - thanks Esky! winking smiley ).

I remember reading some of the press reports from the Houston 72 shows. One of the more liberal publications talked as much about the harrasment by 'the establishment' of ticketgoers as they entered the building as it did about the show itself. It seems The Man was determined to make sure no extra electronic hardware found it's way into the concert. Remember the attitude of those times: R&R was devil's music to the WWII generation in charge, especially in the deep south.
