Any of you ever saw one of these performing artists? The only name I regognized was Alex Schultz.

Eelco Gelling was Cuby's guitar player. Don't know the other names, but I'm sure it's going to be a lot of fun.

Musically, our region I think is a bit narrow minded, apart from Pinkpop. Events like the one you mentioned are somewhat of an exception. There used to be the odd jazz evening at a student's café, but that's about it.

All local music is rubbish, apart from Rowwen Hèze. But unfortunately, that and the occasional country club seem to dominate the scene.

You're right. Apart from a cafe in Kerkrade that has an evening of jazz every month, there's not much to check out here either. Well, maybe the Tumbling Dice, lol!

Have you ever seen them? They were in Ulestraten some weeks ago, but I couldn't go. Which was a pity, cause I would have been able to crawl home.

No, I'm not, but I have seen them several times in the last couple of years. They're ok. The Tumbling Dice sound great, don't try to immitate the Stones too much, which is a plus in my book. Go see them if you get the chance. They don't perform as much in the area as they used too though.

I know Sugar Ray and the Bluetones, I like their harp player; they have a kind of Stevie Ray Vaughan type blues style, which is a plus in my book. Enjoy the show!

Looking forward to them, especially because Alex SChultz is playing and he used to play with Lester Butler (Red Devils).
