I don't know if this has been done before, but we're always posting our favorite pictures of the boys. I thought it might be fun to dig up some of the not so great ones. I'll start with one of the most well-known bad Keith pics ever. Brian's eye bags are pretty undesirable as well.



Wasn't looking too good, but I was feeling real well.

Brian was almost always carrying around some heavy baggage, as the boys used to say about the bags and dark circles under his eyes. Charlie looks surprised in this picture, like Mick goosed him just as the flash was going off.

Funny you say that, I always thought Charlie looked like a chicken in this picture. I have been searching the internet for one of my favorite bad Keith pics, but can't find it. It's one of those leather vest photos. Keith has a really bad short haircut and looks like a monkey.

For those of you who think I'm dumping on them, I'm not! I love them, but come on, everyone takes a bad/funny picture every once in a while, even our boys.

even as a youngster I felt they looked forboding though I didn't know the word's meaning then; as if they were asking, "are you sure you want to follow us, we're not sure where were going but it may be dark."
Always loved this cover & the songs.
Keith looks sort of boyish, Brian on sleeping pills, Wyman looks like a stone, Charlie looks like an intellectual, and Mick, in the background shadows, with an I-want-you-to-think-I'm-the-sinister-force-behind-this-group look, whereas his personality in reality seems more playful and funloving, enjoying life in all its interesting aspects.

Cindy is this thread title a spin off your signature?, which is a misnomer based on your posted pics as well as Keith's admiration for your posture which is recorded, Ha!

The first ones of Keith I cvan think of where he looks silly are the ones where they are all running around outside with Micael Cooper, Robert Fraser; supposedly tripping hard. Keith is wearing thisa huge sheepfur coat with thew hood on. He looks just funny. Must have had all his tripping buddies laughing.

I always get a chuckle when people in their sixties are referred to as "boys".

Great photo--never saw it before.

I am almost certain that is the same guitar Keith used (in addition to the Flying V) at Hyde Park--it is a true hollwbody and consequently has a lot of feedback at higher volumes.

It embodies everything that IS the STONES...taste, sympathy and virtuosity..I wish I could just heat that burst he is playing at the moment of the photo..

BRIAN FREAKIN' RULES(D)....so sad....

Hi Mick - It is a spin off of my signature! Thanks for noticing. And thanks for reminding me of Keith's admiration of my posture. That's a memory I never get tired of.

This cover is so great!!And Blak &blue is so similar!!As a kid,I wanted to have B&B..only by looking at the cover!!

the one Keith's got at Hyde Park is a Gibson ES-330; the one Brian's got in that fine photo you posted is an Epiphone Casino.
but yeah, they're both true hollowbodies - and cheers to all the kind patient gallant learned IORR Guitar Connoisseurs if i got that right. :E

I still love the black&Blue cover...thats right!!!!!

on the black and blue cover keith looks astonishingly fit and young,
compared with photos from the 72 stp or the annie leibowitz tour book.
i had the cover hanging on my kitchen wall for the time i lived in
that appartment.
my then girlfriend didn't like the photo.
well, she didn't like cooking neither, so it was not a big problem.
wonder how they made keith look like he did on the cover.

I just got an email Blue Lena posted on her myspace. It has one of the ugliest photos of Mick Jagger I've ever seen. I guess it's not so much his face that looks bad, mostly his hair. Also, he's looking a bit girlish in the trouser's department, if you know what I mean.

Don't you mean he's looking a bit girlish in the woman's jump suit department.

Yeah, that's what I meant. I think it's about time that jumpsuits came back into fashion. I think it's up to us IORRers to restart the trend.
