What unreleased songs that you've heard on Boots or whatever SHOULD HAVE been officially released. Are there some that would have made mediocre albums such as DIRTY WORK or EMOTIONAL RESCUE stronger? I would vote for "Criss Cross"? (Save Me) added to Goat's Head Soup and "I Ain't Lying" (Deja Vu?) tacked on to something. Agree / Disagree? Any other's? Whatever happened to "Scarlet" with Jimmy Page? Anyone heard it?
Claudine would definitely be a great choice in any of its different versions. I'd also pick Do You Think I Really Care/Yellow Cab, Gangster's Moll and covers like Drift Away and Cops And Robbers.
OK, So "CLaudine" was suppose to be on EMOTIONAL RESCUE if I recall but the band was worried about lawsuits since she was found not guilty and "Drift Away" almost made it on IORR was it? And I believe "Scarlet" is the name of Jimmy Page's daughter if I remember correctly from reading that way back. So is ROCKMAN's group of songs from the Some Girls sessions? ALSO, Back to "CrissCross"(Save Me). Is there a high quality version of this out there cause mine sound's like a 70's era boot recorded in a recording Studio with a portable cassette recorder. Vocals are really buried with a lot of echo. Still sounds like a winner song though. Hope it makes the box set in 2015....Anybody know why "Ladies and Gentlemen" has never been officially released? How about that anthology "25 x 5" or something like that came out around the Steel Wheels tour? those 2 and "Let it Be" are the Obvious missing major films/videos that have yet to be put on DVD, I don't get it.All the Stones have to do is hire some research people and get them released. 75/76 Shows would be nice too.

Good call. Would have been Keef's best rocker of the 90's...er, did he have another?
Fiji Jim Dancing Girls--I know it is not really complete.......... Munich Hilton A Different Kind of Way Claudine We Had It All Do You Think I Really Care
You take this group, add Think I'm Going Mad (recorded during that same '77-'79 period) and you are well on your way to one smoking Stones record.
Precisely--that is why I did not include it in the list. It was recorded at the same time and that is why it goes on the record. lol Think I'm Gouing Mad is the B-side to She Was Hot. I still have the picture disc from when it came out waayy back in '83.
Did anybody notice on the "Being Mick" DVD that when he walks into the room where Stones tapes are being archieved that the Stones version of "Lonely at the Top" is playing in the backround? It's true, check it out.....
In addition to the tracks mentioned here, I'd like to add "I Need You". That's really something. A really nice track, nice lyrics, and then we hear Jagger's "I won't f*ck you too much". Remainds me a bit of the groove on "Hand Of Fate".
We had it all (Keith's best IMO) Honest Man Zip mouth angel Living in the heart of love Let's go steady No spare parts (so much better than faraway eyes) Strictly Memphis (this one was left off of Dirty Work.....we got Back to Zero...) Still a fool

Hey MicksBrain, didn't Save Me come out on the Trident Demos set? I thought that stuff was recorded 68/69. I'll double check when I get home unless someone can confirm before then. That's a good one.
Personally, I still think I Can See It is the best. I love that funky bass line.
Also, Erik - good call on I Need You. I love any song where Keith and Mick share vocals, although it's primarily Keith on this one.
We Had It All is also one of my favorites. It's a beautiful song and Keith sings it with so much emotion, especially when he sings that part
"I know that we can, never live these times again, so I'll let these dreams take me back to where we've been. Then I'll stay there with you, for as long as I can. Oh it was so good - yeah it was so good - oh it was so good, when I - was your man".
It sounds really corny, but it almost brings a tear to my eye, when he sings that verse. Someone recently posted a version of this on the trade page with Keith & Willie singing it. Keith mentions it's a Dobie Gray song. Has anyone ever heard the Dobie version?
