The privileged Chelsea players have attended to the best show in the world (besides the Stones of course), and they have been taught how to play football.

Yes indeed! Barca were magnificent tonight...a pleasure to watch.

So Barca players arent priveleged then!! They did play great but Messi should have been off for all that theatrical crap he pulled. Get the win by playing instead of cheating at least. Football really is pissing me off ...it is not just him - they are all at it- more interested in trying to con the ref than playing wiht the undoubted skill they have.

Bull. Messi accentuated things, and the red card might have been harsh (I think the ref pulled it after the scuffling so as to regain control of the match), but he was DEFINITELY fouled, and a yellow card for Del Horno (sp.?) would definitely have been warranted, no matter what.

Plus, Chelsea got away with two penalty kicks not being called (deliberate handball in the box in the first half, Terry tackling Messi AND committing a handball in the box in the second half). So quit your complaining.

As for sater, it's not about history, it's about right now. There is no better club team in the world at the moment than Barcelona, and this is CERTAINLY not coming from a Barca fan.

i prefer REAL MADRID but i'm impressed about Barca style. Anyway Messi will be another Maradona. Ronaldinho is great i must admitt.Chelsea - you can buy everything

The referee commenting on the TV I watched said that it definitely was a red card on Messi (though he faked the pain) and it should have been a penalty when someone (Makelele?) played with hand. I love Barca, maybe they won't win the CL, but they play beautiful, though I think last year's match was much better when they lost 4-2. Barca is one of the reasons to watch football, who cares about some teams who always win 1-0, except for their fans. It's OK for some not-very-rich clubs, but if you've got the money to buy any player you want then WTF? For the same reasons, I'm glad Werder beat Juventus. I like Juve, and I'm sure they'll win the next match, but Werder plays very good.

When Chelsea looses a game, it is always somebody elses fault.... either the referee, someboyd else cheating, the field etc.....

Last night:

First Messi got a kick right on top of his knee from Del Horno - no punishment - Messi could have ruined his knee; second Del Horno ran right into Messi without any reason (or probably the reason was to hurt Messi) - the two attacks from Del Horno on Messi together were more than a red card and send that jerk of the field .....

More - Barca didn't get two penalties they should have had - first hand on the ball and then Terry throwing himself on top of Messi in the penalty area....

Like everybody else, I am sick and tired of Mourinho - he behaves like a spoiled little kid, he has this crying eyes on TV when something goes against him....

Go home to your mother Mourinho..... buhhhhhhh

fair enough but i was thinking about the actual makeup of the teams.it used to be us against the spanish the italians the germans etc.now WE ARE the spanish,italians and germans.at this rate arsenal will be entering the african nations cup.

I for first always wanted Milan to be made up of only players from Milano, grown up hating with no compromise Inter and Juventus, that the shirt remains the traditional red and black stripes one with no sponsors or fancy stripes, that the numbers went from 1 to 11, the shoes to be black etc. etc.

To be honest I care more for winning the national "scudetto" than 10 champions league. And a "scudetto" without winning against Inter and Juventus is only half a joy.

As a matter of fact, sadly, this is not going to happen anymore.
